At New York Comic Con 2025, Yen Press announced the acquisition of Monster Eater: Delicious in Dungeon the Board Game for release in May 2026. Inspired by the popular 1998 Monster Maker board game, this exciting iteration of Delicious in Dungeon allows fans to play as their favorite characters and team up to explore dungeons, battle (or eat!) iconic monsters from the series, and earn victory points to win.

Delicious in Dungeon is the award-winning and bestselling series written by Ryoko Kui, released in English from Yen Press in May 2017.

In this collaborative game combining the hit manga Delicious in Dungeon and the work of legendary game designer Ginichiro Suzuki, you and a party of 2–5 of your closest friends can delve the depths of the dungeon together, seeking fame, wealth, power, and more. Yen Press and Tapas Partner to Provide a New Web Novel Reading Experience

Yen Press and Tapas Entertainment have announced a new partnership to provide readers with a modern web novel reading experience for some of the most iconic light novel series. Starting October 2025, the first selection of series from Yen On (Yen Press’s novel imprint) will be available to read on Tapas, with users able to access the first five “episodes” for free. New episodes will roll out daily following the initial release, and readers will have the option to either pay to unlock the new content immediately or wait for free access.

The first batch of series coming to the Tapas platform are The Eminence in Shadow, Overlord, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, The Summer Hikaru Died, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Following the initial release, additional Yen On series will be added to the site on a monthly basis.

Yen Press and Tapas have partnered in the past thanks to the bestselling and ongoing series The Beginning After the End by TurtleMe. Yen Press has announced the audiobook adaptation for two of its latest properties: About a Place in the Kinki Region and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End ~Prelude~. The prose edition of the horror novel, About a Place in the Kinki Region is slated to go on sale December 2025. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End ~Prelude~, which was recently announced in August, is set to release in March 2026.

Yen Audio will debut the audiobooks in spring 2026, with the respective voice casts to be announced at a later date.

During Anime Expo 2025, the largest anime convention in the United States, Yen Press announced the audiobook adaptations of five current licenses: Secrets of the Silent Witch, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter, Days with My Stepsister,and Magical Explorer.

At the Yen Press Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2025, Ize Press announced the English print publication of Revenge of the Baskerville Bloodhound, a time-travel fantasy manhwa following an illegitimate son seeking revenge against his family of assassins. Taking “release the hounds” to the next level, our young protagonist Vikir uses his knowledge of the future to hone his skills at a legendary speed and become the most feared Baskerville of all time.
