Stan, Peters, Atwell, Shatner To Attend Wizard World Sacramento, June 17-19

Sebastian StanWizard World, Inc. continues its 2016 schedule with its third trip to Sacramento Convention Center at Wizard World Sacramento, June 17-19. Captain America star Sebastian Stan, X-Men standout Evan Peters, Hayley Atwell, William Shatner, and Baseball Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza, the 11th event on Wizard World’s calendar of comic con and gaming cons in 2016.

Jackson will attend on Saturday, June 18, only. Atwell will appear Sunday, June 19, only. Shatner will appear on Friday and Sunday; Stan and Peters are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Other well-known Wizard World Sacramento guests include Jewel Staite, Billy Boyd, Denis O’Hare, Michael Cudlitz, Michael Rooker, Dean Cain, Chris 51 and others.

Artist Alley in Sacramento will feature Arthur Suydam, Phil Ortiz, Paolo Rivera, Jason Shawn Alexander, Billy Martin, James O’Barr, Genese Davis, Mike Norton, Victor Dandridge, Carlo Barberi, John Orlando and many others.

Wizard World Presents: ‘Jay & Silent Bob Get Old’ Podcast With Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes In Sacramento

Kevin SmithKevin Smith, who wrote and directed Clerks, Yoga Hosers, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and the series “Comic Book Men” among his many credits, and Jason Mewes , who starred in Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob among numerous collaborations with Smith, will record an episode of their podcast “Jay & Silent Bob Get Old” on Saturday, June 20, at 8:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Community Theater (1400 J Street), in conjunction with the second annual Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento.

A writer, comedian, podcaster, and film director, Smith has written and directed numerous films, including Dogma, Red State and Tusk, in addition to Clerks, Chasing Amy and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. He also has authored Silent Bob Speaks, Shootin’ the Sh*t with Kevin Smith , My Boring-Ass Life and most recently Tough Sh*t: Life Advice from a Fat, Lazy Slob Who Did Good. He can be heard daily at Smodcast.com, a vast network of podcasts.

In addition to being the never-silent half of the cult heroes Jay and Silent Bob, Mewes has appeared in Smith’s Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Clerks II among 80 film and TV credits. Norman Reedus, Danny Trejo, Katie Cassidy, Henry Winkler, Dave Bautista, Kelly Frye, WWE Diva Eva Marie, Patrick Warburton, and Christian Serratos headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.

The WWE stars will appear on Saturday only; Winkler is scheduled for all three days of the event; the others above are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Other well-known Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento guests include Malcolm McDowell, Alfonso Ribeiro, Giancarlo Esposito, Reggie Lee, Manu Bennett, Adrian Paul, Kevin Conroy, Jason David Frank and David Yost from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Chris 51, The Boondock Saints duo Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco, and Scott Wilson.
