JewCE 2023: Holy Graphic Novels!

To go along with the Jewish Comics Experience exhibition, JewCE held a convention with numerous panels highlighting the history of comics and it connection to Jewish culture and history. Taking place in November, the convention has now released all of the panels for streaming and to watch on demand.

Queen of Cosmos Comix Sells Out and Gets a Second Printing

Due to overwhelming demand, the first print run of Barbara ‘Willy’ Mendes long in the works Queen of Cosmos Comix has sold out at the publisher level.  A second print is being rushed to stores for the fall.

An autobiographical tale spanning time and space, from creation to the present and onward, renowned Los Angeles artist Willy Mendes’ female futurism holds a mystical mirror up to reality.  presenting her first new comic work in decades, the consciousness-expanding Queen of Cosmos Comix picks up where she left off in underground comix work form the 1970s.

Queen of Cosmos Comix also reprints several of her classic stories including Tales of the Modern Mystic and Realm of Karma Comix.
