Lion-O, Lord of ThunderCats, still a youth in a man’s body, grows restless, hungry for bold action and heroism. But this is the time for subtle outreach and diplomacy to usher in an era of peace among equal peoples. Through the wise counsel of Tygra and the watchful friendship of Calica — who first appeared in ThunderCats (2024) #2, Lion-O swallows his pride and prepares to meet the moment.

But everything changes when a mysterious meteor streaks across the sky, casting strange light over an assembly of Third Earth’s tribes. Who is the Feral King? What is his mission? And whom will he champion — or destroy? The future of the ThunderCats, Mumm-Ra’s legions, and all the peoples of Third Earth hangs in the balance!

Thus starts the new run by rising star artist David Cousens and superstar writer Greg Pak, renowned for his work on top franchises delivering epic, character-defining stories like Batman/Superman, Planet Hulk, World War Hulk, X-Men, Darth Vader, and more. With a new roster of ‘Cats and ‘Hawks, unique new costumes and designs, and an unforgettable opening chapter, this is the ideal opportunity to jump on board the world of ThunderCats!

Known for his electrifying covers for the franchise and interior artwork on the Cheetara: Worldbreaker special, David Cousens joins to bring Pak’s scintillating scripts to the page. The team is rounded out by colorist Igor Monti, letterer Jeff Eckleberry, and the continuing guidance of editor Nate Cosby.

ThunderCats #1 features gorgeous covers by Cousens, Mark Spears, Daniele Cellini, Stephen Byrne, and Seth Damoose. Collectors can also chase rare variants with the mystery blind bag offerings. Which may include a HUGE surprise and big first from Dynamite, which will blow ThunderCats diehards away! More details will be shared at release, to not spoil it for fans.

This new series joins the previously announced companion comic, ThunderCats: Cheetara, the historic first ongoing solo series for the character by writer Saladin Ahmed and artist Andrea Arcari. The pair of new titles follow the conclusion of the blockbuster ThunderCats X SilverHawks crossover event that closed the book on the initial Dynamite era of “ThunderVerse” stories driven by Declan Shalvey, Ed Brisson, Drew Moss, and many more.

Laugh it Up with Sideshow’s Joker Bust

Since its publication in 1988, Batman: The Killing Joke has been considered one of the most complex and shocking Batman comics of all time, exploring The Joker’s origin and twisted philosophy. The Joker Bust by Sideshow, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, captures the madness of this landmark book in a striking collectible.

Measuring 14 inches (35.5 cm) tall, 15.5 inches (39.3 cm) wide, and 10 inches (25.4 cm) deep, this officially licensed DC-inspired collectible is based on an iconic panel from the Batman: The Killing Joke graphic novel. The Joker’s infamous descent into chaos is rendered in stunning detail, giving collectors an accurate three-dimensional representation of this distinctive shot. His alarmingly white face is contorted into a chilling smile, in contrast to the vibrant green curls spilling over his desperate, clutching hands. Even the villain’s manic cackle, part of the original panel’s background, is brilliantly depicted along the base. Overlapping, oversized letters spelling HAHAHA blend into his purple suit and exhibit his transformation from sanity to lunacy. Look into his eyes and you’ll see a man already too far gone.

The Killer Croc Premium Format Figure also includes a swap-out right hand holding a pipe. It is a formidable weapon when wielded alongside razor sharp teeth and a terrifying crocodile tail.

An unrivaled swimmer, Killer Croc has collected a few mementos from his battles and hidden them where only he and the rats can reach. Sitting atop dearly departed Barbara Maitland’s tombstone, the Ghost with the Most is ready to raise some hell as soon as someone says his name three times and brings him into the world of the living. Beetlejuice holds a copy of the Handbook for the Recently Deceased as he makes his persuasive, pungent sales pitch to just about anyone who will listen — even an unsuspecting housefly. The figure also comes with a swap-out open left hand if you think that dusty old book reads too much like stereo instructions.

This striking statue’s base features a detailed recreation of Adam Maitland’s model capturing the look of the foam grass and cardboard support layers. But just like any grave, even more ghoulishness lurks under the surface. A sandworm encircles the scene along with two cameos of Delia Deetz’s dangerous art sculptures.

Say it once, say it twice, third time’s the charm! The Beetlejuice Premium Format Mixed Media Figure is available to pre-order now.

Punchline Gets a Premium Format Figure from Sideshow

Spurred on by an obsession with The Joker, Alexis Kaye takes on the mantle of Punchline, a charismatic and manipulative Super-Villain. Although she has no metahuman powers, Punchline is adept at wielding her weapons and utilizes Joker Venom, along with other toxins.

Inspired by the character’s comic book appearance in The Joker War story arc, the Punchline Premium Format Figure and the Exclusive Edition by Sideshow in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP),  paint a cunning clown groupie in a chaotic, colorful light. This fully sculpted DC-themed collectible measures 21.75 inches (55.2 centimeters) tall, 11.14 inches (28.2 centimeters) wide, and 8.1 inches (20.5 centimeters) deep.

It’s a mad world, and she’s the solution. The Punchline Premium Format Figure presents Alexis Kaye as she carves out a place for herself within the coterie of Gotham City baddies. Both a lover and a hater, she takes her costume and makeup cues from The Joker while torturing torn toy versions of Harley Quinn and Batman— hey, every fangirl needs a hobby.

Punchline wears a ripped purple bodysuit, black dress and corset bodice, knee-high black boots, and a small black cape. She wields her preferred weapon in her right hand while standing upon a circular pedestal resembling wooden baseboard and tarnished brass.

This detailed, quarter scale statueincludes two portraits: one neutral and enigmatic, the other devious. Each expression is accompanied by a long, high ponytail streaked with vivid blue.

The Exclusive Edition features a third alternate portrait, which shows Alexis sneering — both proud and pouting. This Sideshow exclusive edition has a different right arm configuration with a trick weapon balanced expertly and hidden from view.
