Origin Vol. 9 might be the best volume yet. Great art and fantastic use of detail to build the story

Origin Vol. 7 packs a lot in but an odd tone at times and art that’s not the usual quality stands out

With their massive political pull, AEE has managed to thoroughly cover up Gon’s assault on the Kyoto facility.

Origin Vol. 4 might be the best volume yet and really shakes things up

If I don’t do something, everyone’s going to die. Origin arrives in Kyoto with Mai and Dr. Fermi, only to find the director of AEE’s A.I. Institute recalcitrant at best-but that’s the least of their worries after Origin’s robot brother GON shows up and goes on a merciless rampage! Committed to protecting Mai but unable to reveal his true identity, Origin must make a deal with the mysterious “data-mind” Y in order to find a way out of this lethal ordeal!

Origin Vol. 3 has some solid action but it’s the human aspects that stand out

What is it I’m fighting for?
Director Yamada’s nefarious plan to steal a cutting-edge AEE military robot and kill his co-conspirators goes south when they hit on the same idea. Dragged into the middle of the conflict, a disguised ORIGIN must follow his programming and minimize casualties, despite being faced with the uglier side of the humanity he is compelled to save.

Origin Vol. 2 continues the great art and fantastic action
