DC reveals Absolute Batman #20 Robin Variants

Today is the release of Absolute Batman #19 which reveals a bit of the new Absolute Robins and DC has revealed five new variant covers for Absolute Batman #20 of each of the Absolute Universe Robins, along with Nick Dragotta‘s character designs!

The X-Men and Fantastic Four join Forces to Stop the X-Virus from Mutating Mankind in DNX!

New Variant Covers Spotlight art from Marvel Dimensions, Alex Ross’ Upcoming Graphic Novel

This September, Alex Ross reimagines the Marvel Universe in Marvel Dimensions, an all-new graphic novel from Marvel and Abrams ComicArts as part of their Marvel Arts line, releasing September 1, 2026. Written and illustrated by Ross, the upcoming graphic novel follows the incomparable artist’s acclaimed work on Fantastic Four: Full Circle with an expansive, reality-shattering saga that includes beautifully painted depictions of Marvel heroes’ iconic origins and early stories. Image reveals the lineup of Variant Covers for If Destruction Be Our Lot

Writer Matthew Rosenberg and his brother Mark Elijah Rosenberg team up with artist Andy Macdonald colorist Francesco Segala, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou for If Destruction Be Our Lot, a smart new speculative science fiction series painting an all too possible picture of humanity’s end.

Image Comics and the team behind this timely new ongoing announce the full lineup of covers for issues number 1 and 2 from series artist Andy MacDonald with Francesco Segala, Jerome Opeña and Neeraj Menon, James Harren, Tradd Moore, Tula Lotay, and Cliff Chiang.  Each issue will also feature a special ‘Where’s Abe?’ homage cover where the book’s protagonist wanders onto the cover of another beloved Image Comics title, as drawn by that book’s artist. Issue one’s Ice Cream Man homage is drawn by Martín Morazzo and issue two will have a Sex Criminals homage by Chip Zdarsky, with plenty more to come.

In If Destruction Be Our Lot, humanity is extinct and all that remains are the robots who once helped us. The robots are happier now, doing their work without human interference. But not Abe, a robotic replicant of Abraham Lincoln in search of meaning beyond the daily grind. Abe believes there must be something more out there beyond the edge of the city. After nearly getting killed, he’s determined to wander the Earth until he finds it… or gets recycled trying.

Daredevil’s True Believers Blind Bags features Surprise Sketches by Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, and Frank Miller

Daredevil #1 by Stephanie Phillips and Lee Garbett arrives at local comic shops tomorrow, the latest Marvel Comics launch available to purchase in new Daredevil #1 True Believers Blind Bags. In these blind bags, fans have the chance to find any of the issue’s regular covers OR rare Blind Bag exclusive covers, including ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn sketch covers from surprise artists and contributors! Marvel has revealed some of those surprise covers will come from legendary Daredevil writer/artist Frank Miller, and actors Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal, who reprised their roles as Daredevil and Punisher in Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again last year. Skybound, Image, and Hasbro Unveil Energon Universe Special 2026 Variant Covers

Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have revealed the lineup of variant covers for Energon Universe Special 2026 which will also serve as the introductory chapter of the upcoming new Energon Universe series M.A.S.K.

First available with an exclusive cover as part of Free Comic Book Day on Saturday May 2, 2026, Energon Universe FCBD Special 2026 serves as both a perfect jumping on point into the Energon Universe and a can’t miss experience for long-time fans. 

The biggest year in Energon Universe history is here, and this special issue includes four all-new stories from the worlds of TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOE, VOID RIVALS, and M.A.S.K. from the biggest names in comics. Energon Universe talent Robert Kirkman, Joshua Williamson, and Dan Watters pen the stories, and Jason Howard, Tom Reilly, Conor Hughes, and Pye Parr provide art for this action-packed special. The retail version of Energon Universe Special 2026 will be available for purchase in comic book shops on Wednesday May 6, 2026, featuring the same story content as the FCBD 2026 special with all-new can’t miss covers for collectors.

This May, Marvel’s Stormbreakers shatter the multiverse in new What If…? Variant Covers! The latest monthly cover collection from Marvel’s elite artists celebrates 50 years of What If…? storytelling with imaginative new twists on your favorite heroes. From dramatic transformations to outrageous power swaps, these eight pieces reflect the endless creativity and spectacular talent of the current class of Marvel’s Stormbreakers!
