Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America Inc. is making their yearly migration to San Diego Comic-Con, where attendees can immerse themselves in exhibits, photo-ops, displays, workshops, and event exclusives featuring licensed properties such as Dragon Ball and Godzilla! Diamond 40th Anniversary Collectibles Headline February PREVIEWS Exclusives

Diamond Comic Distributors has announced the upcoming release of numerous PREVIEWS Exclusive collectibles, including collectibles featuring Diamond’s 40th anniversary commemorative logo sticker. On February 1st, Diamond celebrated 40 years of service. In celebration of this milestone anniversary, Diamond plans to announce exclusive 40th Anniversary PREVIEWS Exclusive collectibles year-round.

Disguise Limited announced a pair of 40th Anniversary PREVIEWS Exclusive masks. The Nightmare Before Christmas’ infamous Boogieman from Halloweentown, Oogie Boogie (NOV218424, SRP $24.99), and the iconic Green Power Ranger (NOV218425, SRP $24.99) take the shape of oversized Funko-inspired masks. These one-size, glow-in-the-dark vacuform masks are lightweight for wearability and feature half-tone printing to preserve the integrity of the character’s face while allowing the wearer easy visibility.

Surreal Entertainment announced a pair of 40 th Anniversary PREVIEWS Exclusives collectibles. These classic-style tin lunchboxes come with matching thermos feature some of the most unforgettable moments in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles history. The Classic Comic #1 Lunchbox (NOV218909, SRP $24.99) features the foreboding foursome in their first appearance of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird’s now-iconic TMNT comic. The Last Ronin Lunchbox (NOV218910, SRP $24.99) features art from the gritty TMNT story that changed comics forever, telling the dystopian tale of the lone survivor of the honorable four who will stop at nothing to avenge his fallen family.

Also featuring the fan-favorite TMNT tale, The Last Ronin, Playmates announced a 40th Anniversary PREVIEWS Exclusive figure. The Last Ronin Action Figure (NOV218961, SRP $29.99) is a meticulously detailed and highly poseable figure with 14 points of articulation. The figure comes with an array of accessories including Don’s bo staff, Mikey’s nunchaku, Raph’s twin sai, and both of Leo’s katanas, one with a broken blade, as well as a grappling hook and rope that fasten to his accessory belt. Also available is a limited black-and-white chase variant. Chase figures are packed randomly and cannot be guaranteed with purchase.

Tamashii Nations announced their 40th Anniversary PREVIEWS Exclusive line of new figures from Dragon Ball. The five Fear Android Ichibansho figures are expertly crafted and meticulously sculpted in their most popular poses to look like their respective anime characters. Each Fear Android non-scale PVC figure is exclusive to North America and comes packaged in a printed box featuring limited edition 40th Anniversary PX branding.

Funko announced the PREVIEWS Exclusive Vinyl SODA figure of Goliath (JUL218278, SRP $13.99), from the classic Disney animated television series Gargoyles. Leader of the Manhattan Clan, the ancient Goliath stands 4 1/4-inch tall and comes packaged in a retro-styled soda can along with a collectible disc. Also available is a stone chase variant. Chase figures are packed randomly and cannot be guaranteed with purchase.

Sentinel announced the PREVIEWS Exclusive Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Chodankado Inferno Armor action figure (DEC219429, SRP $145.00). Inferno Armor, the armor that came forth from the void, is now available in the CHOU-DAN-KADOU action figure series. The attachable armor can be equipped to the included action figure or displayed on its own. The set includes two types of optional wrist parts, three optional expression parts, Swords of Fervor (Gouretsu Ken), sword sheaths, connecting parts for Swords of Fervor, and a frame base.

Premium Bandai USA has begun offering highly sought-after and exclusive collectibles from renowned Bandai toy and collectible brands to domestic fans and customers. S.H. Figuarts Batman (1989) Coming from Tamashii Nations

Tamashii Nations has unveiled a new S.H. Figuarts Batman (1989) figure. Set for release in September in Japan, it’ll arrive in the US sometime in October 2020. The retail price should be around $68 (currently listed at $71.99) though that isn’t set due to exchange rates.

Based on the iconic movie, the figure is an uncanny likeness. The cowl covers the neck, just like the film and it comes with “wonderful toys.” Accessories include a zipline gauntlet (with movable gimmick) grappling gun, batarang, two shuriken, and replacement hand and expression parts.

Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary World Tour Stops In NYC In April

world-tour-ny-poster-visualBANDAI Co., Ltd. is in the middle of a worldwide tour of figure display events being held in 10 cities over the course of the year in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of its Tamashii Nations brand of collectible figures.

The twofold aim is to thank all of the Tamashii Nations fans who have supported the brand, and to spread the word about Tamashii Nations to even more potential fans across the globe.

Tamashii Nations has announced the third event in the annual series. Tamashii Nations 10th Anniversary WORLD TOUR: New York City will be held at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall in Manhattan on April 29th-30th.

The event will center around new products from the Dragon Ball series (the latest incarnation of which, Dragon Ball Super, is now airing in the US), and the Meisho Movie/Manga Realization action figure series of popular Star Wars and Marvel Universe characters re-envisioned in Japanese samurai style. In addition, popular anime characters from Naruto and Sailor Moon, plus characters already well known to fans from the WWE franchise and Godzilla series, will also be on display. Other interactive opportunities are planned as well, such as a “touch and try” corner allowing fans to interact with the actual products and a photo spot for taking fun pictures. A total of 9 commemorative products will make their world debut for sale on-site as well.

The World Tour kicked off in December, 2016 in Sao Paolo, Brazil. It was followed by Hong Kong in February, and coming up in April, New York City, which will follow up with June, in Mexico. The worldwide celebration will continue with exciting new events and product unveilings in other cities leading up to October of 2017, with the final stop, Tamashii Nation 2017, being held in November in Tokyo — a spectacular event commemorating the 10 year history of the beloved brand.
