In Hell’s Bright Shadow, the first module in Hell’s Rebels, the new 6-month Adventure Path for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, finds the city of Kintargo, which has long been a safe haven for artists, freethinkers, and those marginalized by the oppressive Chelish government, has been placed under martial law by inquisitor Barzillai Thrune. When a protest turns into a riot, a new group of heroes comes together to form an organized resistance against the devil-binding government and the church of Asmodeus. Gen Con 2015: Syrinscape’s Open Call for Attendees, and Epic Live RPG Plus Event!

Syrinscape, the award-winning app that puts the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, and music, into the hands of the gamer, has announced their activities and adventures planned for Gen Con, North America’s largest hobby gaming convention, taking place in Indianapolis, IN July 30 – August 2, 2015.

Attendees will experience the next-gen in tabletop gaming in the Dicestormers’ Live RPG Plus, brought to life by Syrinscape, Realm Works, and Dicestormers host Benjamin Loomes. Live RPG Plus is an audience-driven, truly interactive Pathfinder RPG adventure, featuring an all-star line-up of players, including Paizo creative director James Jacobs, Gen Con owner/CEO Adrian Swartout, Green Ronin founder and president Chris Pramas, and Lone Wolf data entry specialist Jeremy Land. Live RPG Plus takes place on Friday from 2-3pm, and tickets are available for $2.

A massive monster raid and dragon attack is coming to Gen Con! The Syrinscape booth in the exhibit hall (#1045) will be transformed into a recording studio, where attendees will step up to the microphone with their most-creative roars, grunts and growls, smashes and crashes, frightened villagers, brave fighters, crafty wizards, zombies, giants, trolls, werewolves, goblins, orcs, and more, to be made into the official Gen Con SoundSet. Those who contribute sounds used in the final Gen Con SoundSet will receive the SoundSet for free, along with their name in lights on the credits page in the Syrinscape store. One lucky attendee will also become the roar of the official Gen Con dragon.

Pathfinder Society kicks off The Year of the Serpent in massively epic style, with a multi-table, interactive event, Pathfinder Society Friday Night Special. Benjamin Loomes will be on hand to DJ the event with Syrinscape, transforming the giant Sagamore Ballroom and transporting the hundreds of players straight to Golarion through the power of sound.

Syrinscape Launches New Pathfinder and Sci-Fi SoundPacks

Syrinscape , the award-winning app that puts the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, and music, into the hands of the gamer, announces today the release of the Syrinscape SoundPack: Dragon’s Demand, to accompany the popular Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Module: Dragon’s Demand.

The Dragon’s Demand SoundSet includes all of the sounds needed to bring the module to life, with a spectacular Green Dragon, complete with a violently hissing acid breath weapon, a complete Kobold lair with a divine and an arcane spellcasting Kobold leader, a Clockwork Guardian, a small Lightning Elemental, Ghouls, bears, Grioths, and a Flame Drake. Syrinscape Announces Plans for PaizoCon 2015

Syrinscape has announced its plans for PaizoCon 2015. The convention takes place in Seattle, WA, May 22 – 25, 2015.

Syrinscape creator, and host of the popular YouTube gaming show The Dicestormers Benjamin Loomes, returns to PaizoCon as Special Guest, and DJ for the wildly popular Friday Night Pathfinder Special gaming event, Siege of Serpents, from 7pm – midnight. Siege of Serpents is a multi-table interactive adventure in which each group’s actions contribute to the entire room’s success. With hundreds of Pathfinders playing in an epic campaign, Loomes will add realistic sound effects, soundscapes, and music, transforming the ballroom into the world of Golarion, using Syrinscape’s custom sounds for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

Syrinscape has also announced that attendees of PaizoCon 2015 will be called upon to help create sounds for a variety of fantastic monsters and creatures, to be included in the forthcoming The Dragon’s Demand SoundPack from Syrinscape! The Syrinscape stand at PaizoCon will serve as the recording studio, and fans are encouraged to conjure their best sounds for Kobolds, Grioths, a selfish Green Dragon, and the Gibbering Mouther, among others. Attendees with the most-creative sounds will be included in The Dragon’s Demand SoundPack, and will receive free the finished SoundPack for this beloved game module, as well as a name credit on the product.

Epic Events with Pathfinder Society and Syrinscape at UK Games Expo

Pathfinder Society, the world’s largest Organized Play campaign, and Syrinscape, developer of the app that creates custom soundscapes, effects, and music for tabletop games, announce today the schedule of activities lined-up for UK Games Expo, May 29 – 31, 2015, Birmingham, UK.

The wildly popular Pathfinder Special gaming event this year will be the U.K. premier of The Legacy of the Stone Lords, taking place Friday evening from 7pm – Midnight. This multi-table mega-event will fill the entire Colonial Suite with players, and the adventure will come to life with immersive audio and visual components, including a custom Syrinscape soundscape DJ’d live by Benjamin Loomes, Syrinscape creator and host of the popular gaming show, Dicestormers. Tickets to the Pathfinder Special are £4, and are available via the UK Games Expo website.
