Dark Horse Direct and Bioware have teamed up once again and are proud to present the Dragon Age: Solas and Cassandra Statuettes!

The Dragon Age: Solas Statuette stands 7.5-inches tall on a 5.75-inch base, ready for battle, or a game of Wicked Grace. Also ready to join the Inquisitor’s side, the Dragon Age: Cassandra Statuette stands 7.5-inches tall on a 3.5-inch wide base, exuding justice and morality. Both statuettes are expertly sculpted by Big Shot Toys with prototyping and paint by J.W. Productions, and are sized to scale with the rest of our limited-edition Dragon Age Statuettes. Metal Gear Solid V: Venom Snake statue by Gecco

Gecco has revealed by a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Venom Snake 1/6 Scale Statue. Being released in late October or November 2016, the statue will retail for $299 and is sculpted by Shinya Yamaoka, digitally sculpted Masaki Akao, and painted by Katsushige Akeyama.

The painful scars suffered from XOF attack in the end of “Ground Zeroes” are faithfully sculpted on the face, and the skin texture is very realistic. Furthermore, the paint technique enhances the character’s aging facial expression.

His combat uniform has an amazing amount of details from the subtle wrinkles to the complex camouflage paint pattern. Every detail of this character has been captured faithfully by all artists involved.

The small accessories, such as porches, belts and water bottle, are made by hand whereas the rifle and bionic arm are sharply sculpted by digital.

Venom Snake can be displayed with or without the scarf according to your preference. The display base is the same stage as the Quiet statue, the Aabe Shifap Ruins. This is the ultimate Venom Snake statue, combining both his relaxed posture smoking the Phantom Cigar and capturing his tension keenly scanning the environment.

Red Sonja and Dejah Thoris Join the Women of Dynamite Statue Line

The heroines Red Sonja and Dejah Thoris (of the Warlord of Mars franchise) have long been cornerstones of the Dynamite brand, and hold iconic status in the realms of fantasy and science fiction. Now, Dynamite Entertainment proudly honors their impact on pop culture with gorgeous, timeless statues, adding them to the brand-new Women of Dynamite line.

First up, comes Red Sonja, the She-Devil with a Sword, poised on a snow-covered battlefield, never having looked so majestic! Based on the original design of comics sensation J. Scott Campbell and sculpted by the talented Jason Smith, Hyrkania’s most lethal warrior stands approximately 11.5″ in height upon a decorative 5.5″ wide base. Hand-painted on cold-cast porcelain with ABS details, this highly-detailed statue comes individually numbered as part of a limited edition run, and is packaged in a four-color box with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

For the Dejah Thoris statue, Jason Smith and the team at the Brewing Factory poured over the very finest creator illustrations to find just the right inspiration, resulting in this gorgeous statue based on Frank Cho artwork, measuring 12″ high (to the tip of her sword) and 4.5″ deep, with a 6″ base. Hand-painted on cold-cast porcelain with ABS details, each statue is individually numbered as part of a Limited Edition run, and comes packaged in a four-color box with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. DC Expands its Bombshells Line with Statues, Busts and Annual

Its been three years since it was introduced and been a relative success for DC Entertainment, but the company has announced plans to expand upon their popular DC Comics Bombshells line. The concept has appeared in comics, statues, toys, and games, and features the likes of Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Batwoman, Stargirl, and Harley Quinn in an alternate World War II setting. The expansion includes new statues, an annual and a coffee-table book.

The line debuted in 2013 and was inspired by the retro artwork of Ant Lucia which mixed the pin-up style of the war period with rockabilly influences.

In January 2017 Katana enters the mythos with a new statue designed by Lucia and sculpted by Jack Matthews. In October 2016 a line of busts designed by Emanuela Lupacchino and sculpted by Matthews will debut. October also sees the release of The Art of DC Comics Bombshells, a hardcover collection of design work by Lucia, Lupacchino and other artists including Des Taylor and Terry & Rachel Dodson. August 2016 sees the release of the comic series first annual. Writer Marguerite Bennett and artist Elsa Charretier reveal the hidden history of “The Bloody Batgirl,” and the cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson is below.

Gecco’s Metal Gear Solid V, Quiet 1/6 Scale Statue

Gecco Corp has announced that Quiet, the sniper unable to speak from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is recreated as 1/6 scale statue.

Retailing for $289, this 1/6 scale statue is sculpted by Shin Tanabe and Jinto with a digital sculpt by Masaki Akao and paint by Katsushige Akeyama.

Quiet, the sniper unable to speak from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is recreated as 1/6 scale statue. Her powerful feminine pose contrasts beautifully with the long and hard sniper rifle in hand. All of the details have been faithfully captured from the smallest bolt on the rifle to the ripped sheer tights on her legs making this an incredibly realistic piece of art!

The head is interchangeable with the butterfly mark face. The knife and handgun are detachable from the statue along with the sniper rifle which can be displayed with or without the suppressor.

All her beauty marks are faithfully painted as seen in the model sheet. The display base features the motif of the Aabe Shifap Ruins where she tried to capture Snake.

Designed by Todd McFarlane and his McFarlane Toys design group, the grandest Hellspawn of the past 20 years steps out of the Spawn comicbook in this spectacular resin statue.
