Miracleman joins Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto’s Avengers #1

Earlier this week, a legendary comic book super hero was reborn in the Marvel Universe: MIRACLEMAN! David Colton, the former Captain America introduced in Chip Zdarsky’s Captain America run, inherited Miracleman’s legacy and extraordinary power amidst the team’s epic showdown with Red Hulk in Avengers: Armageddon #4. When the dust settles from this cataclysmic battle, a new era for Marvel’s heroes begins and Miracleman will be at the center of it as the final member of a bold new Avengers lineup debuting in Avengers #1 by Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto, on sale November 4. Today, fans can check out the final main cover for Avengers #1, now featuring Miracleman alongside the team, plus a slew of previously classified variant covers spotlighting the iconic character.

The newly revealed covers include True Believers Blind Bag Exclusive Covers, including a brand-new piece by definitive Miracleman artist Alan Davis. Also unveiled are stunning covers by Artgerm, Skottie Young, Jim Cheung, and Julian Totino Tedesco, as well as the complete Kaare Andrews Wraparound Cover, now featuring Miracleman.

Also revealed is Mark Spears’ Display Box Exclusive Variant Cover, available only in Avengers #1 True Believers Display Boxes. Each True Believers Display Box contains 20 copies of the issue, including one copy of the Spears variant cover in a special polybag and 19 True Believers Blind Bags.

Marvel reveals more covers for DNX #1

EVOLUTION IS CONTAGIOUS!

This September, the X-Virus is unleashed and it’ll take the combined genius and power of the X-Men and Fantastic Four to stop it from forcibly mutating humanity in DNX, a five-issue event series from superstar writer Jed MacKay and acclaimed artist Federico Vicentini. Seeded from the very start of MacKay’s acclaimed run, years of buildup culminates in this shocking mutant milestone that erupts across the Marvel Universe with far-reaching consequences for the fragile balance between mutantkind and humanity.

DNX #1 will feature True Believers Blind Bags, special sealed bags that contain exclusive variant covers not available for regular ordering, including rare, one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn sketch covers from surprise contributors. The final DNX #1 variant covers are now unveiled, including both open-to-order covers and blind bag exclusives.

Among the covers revealed today are stunning pieces by two of today’s most exciting cover artists, Fanyang and Puppeteer Lee, spotlighting Psylocke, Magik and Invisible Woman. Lee’s cover will be a regular orderable cover while Fanyang’s striking piece will be a True Believers Blind Bag exclusive. Leinil Francis Yu’s X variant cover is also revealed today, a black and white version of which will be a True Believers Blind Bag exclusive.

Additional Blind Bag exclusives revealed include a wraparound cover by illustrator Chris Giarrusso that pays homage to Whilce Portacio’s classic Uncanny X-Men #281 cover, a Marvel Rivals Variant Cover by NetEase Games showcasing Rogue’s iconic Savage South skin from the hit game, and an Animation Variant Cover featuring artwork from Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97. The latter arrives just ahead of the acclaimed show’s highly anticipated second season, premiering July 1 on Disney+. For collectors, two Blank Variant Covers will also be available, one as a regular open-order edition and the other as True Believers Blind Bag exclusive.

While the new series will be independent reads and not heavily tied to other books, they will exist alongside DC’s ongoing comic book series like Superman, Batman, Justice League Unlimited, and more. In the announcement, Snyder and Williamson teased this is just the second phase of what is planned with a legion of stories still to be told.

Superman and Spider-Man team for Eight New Original Stories Together from DC in March 2026

Earlier this year, DC Comics and Marvel Comics announced the continuation of their historic crossover collaboration into 2026, beginning in January with the 50th anniversary of the first DC/Marvel crossover, Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man. DC has now revealed the creative teams and first look at cover art for its upcoming one-shot comic book Superman/Spider-Man #1.

When journalists Clark Kent and Peter Parker find themselves chasing the same story, the conspiracy they uncover could change the world—especially if Brainiac and Doctor Octopus have anything to say about it. (And we bet they do!) Good thing our intrepid newshounds are secretly Superman and the amazing Spider-Man. To bring this clash of reporters‑turned‑heroes to life, Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez join forces to headline DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 with an unforgettable lead story.

Marvel Reveals All the Covers for X-Men: Age of Revelation Overture, a New Era of Mutant Supremacy!

Ludo Lullabi’s Ghost Pepper #1 is getting a Second Printing

Skybound and Image Comics have announced that the all-new comic book series debut Ghost Pepper #1, from Ludo Lullabi, has sold out at the distributor level and will return with a new printing. The second printing features an all-new cover by Ludo Lullabi, as well as a foil version of Stanley “Artgerm” Lau’s Ghost Pepper #1 cover and will be available at comic shops on August 27, 2025.

Marvel reveals new Marvel/DC Matchups in Deadpool/Batman #1 Variant Covers

This September, the moment the comic book industry has waited decades for arrives in Deadpool/Batman #1, a Marvel Comics one-shot that will be followed in November by Batman/Deadpool #1, a one-shot published by DC. Both crossover comics will featuring explosive main stories that pit Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth against DC’s Caped Crusader along with backup stories spotlighting additional Marvel/DC team-ups and showdowns!

Deadpool/Batman will be written by Zeb Wells and drawn by industry superstar Greg Capullo. Backup stories include Daredevil and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert; Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru; and Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, reflected in a newly-revealed variant cover by Terry Dodson.

Plus, variant covers for the landmark Marvel-published issue will depict even more exciting character matchups, including a trio by superstar artists Artgerm, Steve McNiven, and Peach Momoko, all revealed today! In Artgerm’s latest stunning cover, mutant sorceress Magik wields her sword against iconic super thief Catwoman. Legendary artist Steve McNiven holds nothing back, delivering a fierce fight between Wolverine and Batman. And best-selling cover artist Peach Momoko pairs deadly assassins Elektra and Batgirl (Cassandra Cain).
