Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!

Uncanny Valley #1

Wednesdays (and Tuesdays) are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find out what folks think below, and what comics you should be looking out for this week.

Batman/Dylan Dog #2 (DC Comics) – The first issue was great and entertaining as the two characters’ personalities made for some sparks.

The Bat-Man: First Knight #2 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – A bit of a throwback story with a young Bat-Man and monster men terrorizing Gotham.

Deadweights #1 (AHOY Comics) – A buddy comedy about two unlucky henchmen trying to make their way in the world! Yeah, we’re excited for this one.

Hercules #1 (Dynamite Entertainment) – The classic Disney film comes to comics! Dynamite has done a great job so far with their Disney line of comics and we’re expecting more of the same.

Rat City #1 (Image Comics) – A new take on Spawn from Erica Schultz and Ze Carlos.

Silicon Bandits #1 (Magma Comix) – AI and androids have caused mass unemployment which has two programmers planning a bank heist with a crew of androids they programmed.

Transformers #7 (Skybound) – The series has been solid so far and we’re excited about where the second story arc goes.

Ultimate X-Men #2 (Marvel) – Peach Momoko’s take on the X-Men has been very different so far and we want to see where it goes.

Uncanny Valley #1 (BOOM! Studios) – A young boy has to deal with his mysterious family history and unexplained powers. The cover has us intrigued.

When the Blood Has Dried #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – A barkeep has a hidden history of being part of a ruthless band of rogue sell-swords and his past might be discovered.
