Titan and Jagex team for Runescape comics, graphic novels, fiction, and coloring books

Titan and Jagex have announced a multi-platform publishing program of comics, graphic novels, original fiction, and coloring books for the popular fantasy video game franchise, RuneScape. This program will expand the beloved stories of RuneScape and Old School RuneScape to exciting new frontiers in 2023. 

Since its release in 2001, over 300m RuneScape accounts have been created across PC, Steam and iOS and Android mobile platforms. Set in the medieval fantasy realm of Gielinor, both RuneScape and the retro styled Old School RuneScape take players on an open-ended adventure in a vast ever evolving world brimming with diverse races, guilds and ancient gods, challenging them to take on varied quests and a host of unique monsters.

Jagex and Dark Horse Partner for Official ‘RuneScape’ Companion Book

In partnership with leading publisher Dark Horse Books, Jagex today announced that RuneScape: The First 20 Years—An Illustrated History will be published Autumn 2021 as an official companion tome to the game; giving players an exclusive look behind-the-scenes at the iconic online fantasy RPG as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. A deluxe edition is also available exclusively on the RuneScape Merch Store for diehard fans that want something extra.

In 2001, gamers first arrived in RuneScape’s new online world of medieval fantasy. Two decades on, it has become one of the world’s longest-running online games and a global success story having welcomed almost 300 million player accounts.
