Diamond Comic Distributors has announced that its 2019 Retailer Summit for comic book specialty retailers will take place Saturday, May 18th through Monday, May 20th, 2019 in the “Entertainment Capital of the World”, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 2019 Retailer Summit will offer a wealth of entertaining, educational and informative activities, bringing together the industry’s retailers, publishers, key vendors, and Diamond staff for the 3-day trade-only event. The Retailer Summit will feature key supplier presentations, a trade-only Exhibit Hall, retailer workshops, publisher forums, and more fun and informative events for comic book specialty retailers.

Diamond’s Retailer Summit is the leading annual event for comic book specialty retailers to meet with publishers and suppliers who come together to discuss the industry and their businesses. Top publishers sponsor the event and share exciting new projects, while retailers get to network and learn about new and proven business practices to help them succeed in today’s retailing environment.

Early Bird Registration for retailers will begin on October 1st with a cost of $75/per person until January 31st, 2019, which includes all meals and presentations for the event, as well as generous giveaways from Diamond, publishers and suppliers.

Diamond’s Retailer Summit will celebrate its 16th year in 2018 and remains the leading annual event for comic book specialty retailers to meet with publishers and supplier who come together to discuss the industry and their businesses. Top publishers such as Dark Horse Comics, DC Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, and Marvel Comics sponsor the event and share exciting new projects, while retailers get to network and learn about new business practices to help them succeed and thrive in today’s retailing environment.

Additional details and registration for the industry’s annual retailer event will be announced in late 2017.

Diamond Announces Baltimore as Site for 2015 Retailer Summit

RS 2014Diamond Comic Distributors has announced that its 2015 Retailer Summit for comic book specialty retailers will take place September 23–25, 2015 in Baltimore, MD. That’s just a few days before Baltimore Con Con 2015.

Diamond also announced that it will partner with Baltimore Comic-Con, which will be held right after the Summit from September 25-27, to share marketing and strategic initiatives for the combined events. Baltimore Comic-Con’s Exhibit Hall will serve as the Summit’s Exhibit Hall during special “Retailer Only” hours.
