Remy Boydell Returns to Image with 920London

920London

The critically-acclaimed co-creator and artist of The Pervert, Remy Boydell, returns to Image Comics this April for sophomore graphic novel, 920London.

Boydell’s early works include Tender ObjectsVictim PheromoneDeath Paradise, and Recovery Blogger and followed by Boydell’s debut graphic novel, co-created with Michelle Perez, The Pervert which was featured prominently in the award-winning comics magazine Island, included in Vulture/New York Magazine’s “Best Comics of 2018” round-up list, and nominated for both a Los Angeles Times Book Prize and a Lambda Award. Publishers Weekly said of the book, “this collection of watercolor vignettes—some melancholy, some wryly funny—has a down-to-earth realism and humanity rare in comics about sex work.”

In the forthcoming 920London, readers are introduced to a doomed romance between two emo kids, set in London in 2005. More than friends, less than lovers, they’re trying to grow shrooms before the world ends.

920London original graphic novel (ISBN: 978-1-5343-1504-4) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, April 22 and in bookstores on Tuesday, April 28.
