Morbius and Kraven put Ben Reilly to the test in Amazing Spider-Man’s Beyond Era

There’s a new Spider-Man in town! Starting in October, an all-star lineup of writers and artists will take Spidey beyond the limit in an era without Peter Parker as his fan-favorite clone, Ben Reilly, takes over the mantle. Written by Kelly Thompson, Cody Ziglar (with the rest of the Beyond Board of Saladin Ahmed, Patrick Gleason, and Zeb Wells) with art by Sara Pichelli and Michael Dowling, these adventures of Spider-Man will be like none that came before, offering a fresh take on the Spider-Man mythos and an exciting development for Ben Reilly’s super hero legacy.

This November, fans will see Ben Reilly’s early outings as Spider-Man in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #78-80. Now backed by the Beyond Corporation, Spider-Man is in for a slew of dangerous missions. After being brutally taken down by Morbius, Spider-Man will fall into a trap by one the deadliest foes in his legendary rogue gallery: Kraven the Hunter! The hunter is going to test his prey like never before and Spider-Man is sent into a hallucinatory spiral that will test his sanity and force him to do the impossible.

Also arriving in November will be Amazing Spider-Man #78.BEY, a pivotal issue written by Jed MacKay with art by Eleonora Carlini that will feature the Daughters of the Dragon as Spider-Man’s tough new trainers! But is even their skill level enough for the mission that the Beyond Corporation is about to send them on? This special installment of Amazing Spider-Man will debut a mysterious new villain: OBSIDIAN STAR!

Amazing Spider-Man #75 Kicks Off a New Era with Patrick Gleason, Sara Pichelli, Michael Dowling, and Arthur Adams

Last week, Marvel announced that a team of superstar writers will assemble this October for a brand new run of Amazing Spider-Man. Zeb Wells, Kelly Thompson, Saladin Ahmed, Cody Ziglar, and Patrick Gleason have crafted a saga beyond anything that’s come before in Spider-Man history, and the soon-to-be thrice-monthly series will boast an all-star team of amazing artists. Writer/artist Patrick Gleason will be the bedrock of the team, leading the design and doing the art on the over-sized milestone issue Amazing Spider-Man #75. Joining him will be acclaimed artist Sara Pichelli, the co-creator of Miles Morales doing her first work on Amazing Spider-Man, as well as Michael Dowling, known for his incredible work on Black Cat. In addition, comic book legend Arthur Adams will grace this epic run with his amazing artwork on each and every cover. And this is just the tip of the iceberg for the legends who will be bringing this revolutionary epic to you!

Nick Spencer’s run on Amazing Spider-Man Ends this September

Nick Spencer will close out his epic run on Amazing Spider-Man this September! Since taking over the title, the acclaimed writer has crafted a Spider-Man saga for the ages, taking not only Peter Parker but his beloved supporting cast and iconic rogues gallery on radical new journeys. With numerous memorable storylines under his belt, Spencer will end his redefining work on the Spider-Man mythos in Amazing Spider-Man #74. The milestone 875th issue of the title, Amazing Spider-Man #74 will be an incredible 80-page blockbuster issue complete with artwork from some of the artists that have contributed to this landmark run: Patrick Gleason, Mark Bagley, Marcelo Ferreira, and more! The culmination of over three years’ worth of thrilling storylines, this climactic finale will be full of surprising developments that will launch Peter Parker into his next high-flying era.
