Marvel reveals more covers for DNX #1

EVOLUTION IS CONTAGIOUS!

This September, the X-Virus is unleashed and it’ll take the combined genius and power of the X-Men and Fantastic Four to stop it from forcibly mutating humanity in DNX, a five-issue event series from superstar writer Jed MacKay and acclaimed artist Federico Vicentini. Seeded from the very start of MacKay’s acclaimed run, years of buildup culminates in this shocking mutant milestone that erupts across the Marvel Universe with far-reaching consequences for the fragile balance between mutantkind and humanity.

DNX #1 will feature True Believers Blind Bags, special sealed bags that contain exclusive variant covers not available for regular ordering, including rare, one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn sketch covers from surprise contributors. The final DNX #1 variant covers are now unveiled, including both open-to-order covers and blind bag exclusives.

Among the covers revealed today are stunning pieces by two of today’s most exciting cover artists, Fanyang and Puppeteer Lee, spotlighting Psylocke, Magik and Invisible Woman. Lee’s cover will be a regular orderable cover while Fanyang’s striking piece will be a True Believers Blind Bag exclusive. Leinil Francis Yu’s X variant cover is also revealed today, a black and white version of which will be a True Believers Blind Bag exclusive.

Additional Blind Bag exclusives revealed include a wraparound cover by illustrator Chris Giarrusso that pays homage to Whilce Portacio’s classic Uncanny X-Men #281 cover, a Marvel Rivals Variant Cover by NetEase Games showcasing Rogue’s iconic Savage South skin from the hit game, and an Animation Variant Cover featuring artwork from Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97. The latter arrives just ahead of the acclaimed show’s highly anticipated second season, premiering July 1 on Disney+. For collectors, two Blank Variant Covers will also be available, one as a regular open-order edition and the other as True Believers Blind Bag exclusive.

Marvel reveals DNX #1 Covers including True Believers Blind Bag Exclusives

EVOLUTION IS CONTAGIOUS! Announced earlier this month, DNX, a five-issue event series from Jed MacKay and Federico Vicentini, launches this September. MacKay’s acclaimed X-Men run on X-Men, including the recent Age of Revelation crossover, has led to this monumental saga that sees the X-Men and Fantastic Four join forces to prevent the Chairman, the misguided original Hank McCoy, from unleashing a virus that forcibly—and horribly—transforms humanity into mutants! Adding even more excitement to this latest mutant milestone, DNX #1 will be the next Marvel Comics launch available in True Believers Blind Bags, special sealed bags that contain exclusive variant covers not available for regular ordering, including rare, one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn sketch covers from surprise contributors. Today, fans can check out all-new variant covers for DNX #1, both regular open-to-order covers and blind bag exclusives.

Covers revealed today include the latest piece by best-selling cover artist Artgerm, spotlighting TEMPER, the fiery young X-Man and one of the breakout stars of MacKay’s run. Artgerm’s cover will also be available as virgin variant cover. Both versions will be True Believers Blind Bag exclusives. Other variants revealed include a Hidden Gem Cover by the legendary Jim Lee; a terrifying vision of Magik by InHyuk Lee, also available as virgin variant cover; and an epic Blind Bag exclusive cover by Ken Lashley.

Queen in Black #1 gets a True Believers 20-Bag Display Box featuring 19 Blind Bags and an Exclusive Cover by Patrick Gleason

Queen in Black by Al Ewing and Iban Coello is shaping up to be the comic book event of the summer, and the debut issue will hit stands on July 1 with all the excitement of the cosmic conflict contained in its pages thanks to True Believers Blind Bags! The Queen in Black #1 True Believers Blind Bags will be the first True Believers Blind Bags that will only contain exclusive variant covers not available for regular ordering. Marvel has announced that all-new True Believers Display Boxes will also be available, each containing 19 sealed Blind Bags and 1 Display Box Exclusive Variant Cover by artist Patrick Gleason!

The Display Box Exclusive Variant Cover is only available in Queen in Black #1 True Believers Display Boxes and will be sealed in an individual clear polybag.
