Disney’s Robin Hood Leaps Into Comics!

That infamous bandit champion of Sherwood Forest is back, to rob from the rich, and give to the poor! The beloved Disney interpretation of Robin Hood is leaping into his first comic book series in over 50 years, and superstars of the Dynamite era of Disney comics adventures are teaming up to tell this spectacular saga, with scripting by Eisner-nominated writer Nate Cosby, plotting by Cosby and legendary Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman, and awe-inspiring illustrations by Alessandro Ranaldi. Fans can tune into these all-new, totally true tales starting this November!

There’ve been a heap of legends and tall tales of the mysterious Robin Hood. All different, too. The folks of the animal kingdom have their own version, and readers will get to learn the story of what really happened in Sherwood Forest. This new comic series from Cosby, Weisman and Ranaldi reveals the never-before-told-but-totally-true stories of history’s most famous archer.

Each issue of Robin Hood will shine the spotlight on different characters, telling an interconnected story that focuses on Robin, Maid Marian, Prince John, Friar Tuck, Lady Kluck, Alan-A-Dale, and more of everybody’s favorites!

It all kicks off when Robin Hood gets in a heap of trouble by breaking into Prince John’s castle every single day for a week straight. The only problem is, it takes a while to figure out exactly what he’s been stealing. But when Prince John finds out what’s missing, the hunt is on and it’s going to take all of Robin Hood’s skills and heroics to make it out in this uproarious adventure,

Across the pantheon of Disney classics, Robin Hood has surprisingly been one of the least prolific in comic books. Over 50 years ago was the last major American tales of the people’s hero, and even across the globe the character’s four-color fables have been limited. Dynamite and the creative team are excited to bring this hero to this perfect medium to chronicle his brushes with the law and ultimate feats.

Disney’s vision of Robin Hood originally hit theaters in 1973, and has wowed generations since. Transforming the canonized 12th century English legend into an anthropomorphic adventure epic added a new twist to beloved characters including Maid Marian, Little John, Friar Tuck, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and many more. Readers will get to see artist Alessandro Ranaldi’s gorgeous interpretation of these classic characters in the new comic series.

To mark this historic splash in comics for Robin Hood, editor and writer Nate Cosby has assembled a squad of superstars for gorgeous covers. Joshua Middleton and David Nakayama return to contribute even more instant classic visions of Disney icons. They’re joined by two legends of comic book archers, David Aja and Phil Hester. Nathan Szerdy rounds out the initial cast, plus some exciting surprises that collectors can check out via the mystery blind bag!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13 Gets Over 100,000 copies ordered

From original co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird to the recent hit duo of Jason Aaron and Juan Ferreyra, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) comic books have an impressive legacy of innovative and exciting writers and artists. Now, the eagerly anticipated arrival of a thrilling new creative team on IDW Publishing’s flagship TMNT comic book series has ushered in a whole new level of Turtle Power. 

Multiple Eisner-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and blockbuster artist Freddie E. Williams II are hopping on the best-selling comic book series with this December’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles#13, and with them comes technodrome-sized sales from fans and comic book retailers – more than 100,000 copies have been ordered!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13 will arrive in comic shops on December 10, 2025 with covers by Williams II and colorist Andrew Dalhouse, Kevin Eastman and Ben Bishop, Jared Cullum, Clayton Crain, Daniel Warren Johnson, Dustin Nguyen, David Nakayama, Nathan Szerdy (blind bag exclusive) and Rahzzah (blind bag exclusive).

IDW announces Blind Bags for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13, Kicking off a new era of TMNT

This December, a brand-new era begins in the best-selling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) ongoing comic book series. Multiple Eisner award winning writer Gene Luen Yang and blockbuster artist Freddie E. Williams II start a new storyline with issue #13, and an all-star lineup of artists have assembled to craft covers that are the perfect stocking stuffer, pre-wrapped for all occasions and will leave fans feeling shellshocked.

DC announces Batman: The Brave and the Bold

We’re fans of anthology series, so we’re excited for the upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold, a new series debuting May 16th. A “classic” title, the series has been a launch pad for some of the most well known teams and character like The Suicide Squad, Justice League of America, Metamorpho, The Element Man, Teen Titans and more. It has also featured some amazing team-up stories featuring Batman.

Returning in May, the new Batman: The Brave and the Bold features more tales of the Dark Knight as well as stories featuring other superheroes from around the DC Universe. The first issue features four thrilling tales, including the writing debut of one of DC’s top artists.

Tom King and Mitch Gerads reunite for a horrifying four-part retelling of the first bloody clash between The Joker and the Batman. A tale of loathing, lies, and laughter, this may be the most frightening Joker story in a generation.

Artist Dan Mora makes his writing debut kicking off a new series of Batman Black & White short stories. In a Gotham City overrun by the cybernetic henchmen of The Joker, the only person who can save us is the mysterious motorcycle-riding, bat-costumed hero of urban legend…

This 64-page blockbuster debut issue arrives in comic book stores and on participating digital platforms on Tuesday, May 16.
