The Hunger and the Dusk returns for book two this July

IDW Publishing has announced the return of Hugo Award-winning writer G. Willow Wilson and all-star artist Chris Wildgoose’s acclaimed high fantasy adventure series with The Hunger and the Dusk: Book Two.

After the success of The Hunger and the Dusk: Book One (on sale 6/11), the creative team is raising the stakes yet again to grip readers with even more action, drama, and romance in a compelling and imaginative world. With the human-orc alliance falling apart and The Last Men Standing in desperate need of a healer, the ruthless Vangol and rogue orc dynasties stoke the flames of war and put everything – and everyone – at risk. 

The Hunger and the Dusk: Book Two #1 (of 6) will include the full creative team from Book One, featuring colors by MSassyK and letters by Simon Bowland, as well as primary covers by Wildgoose and variants by Cliff Chiang. The debut issue goes on sale 7/10/24 and fans have until 6/3/24 to pre-order at their local comic shop.

ECCC 2019: Dark Horse Delivers More Critical Role with Comics, Collections, and Art Books

Dark Horse Comics and Critical Role have announced three new projects set to release in 2019. Based on epic tales from the world of Exandria, these new comics, art books and more will explore this universe in new and original ways! The most popular digital tabletop game in the world, Critical Role is live-streamed every week and set in Exandria. In each episode, veteran voice actor and Game Master Matthew Mercer leads his nerdy ass and wildly entertaining friends (also fellow voice actors!) on a thrill ride of turmoil and adventure. Originally released through Dark Horse Digital, the Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins series I paperback collection will be available for fans to purchase at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, critrole.com, and in local comic shops! Isola Vol. 1 Arrives this October

Gotham Academy creators Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl, with colorist MSASSYK and letterer Aditya Bidikar, will release Isola, Vol. 1 this October from Image Comics.
