Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge Gets a Viewing Party on May 2

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is hosting a Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge viewing party – featuring actor Dave B. Mitchell, the voice of Raiden, and filmmakers Rick Morales and Jeremy Adams – on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 5:00pm PT/8:00pm ET to celebrate the wide release of the hit animated film on Digital, 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD.

The Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge viewing party will feature the live-tweeting of the actors and filmmakers throughout the 80-minute film. They’ll offer personal insights into their roles, the experience of making the film, and their reactions as the film rolls.

Fans are encouraged to cue up their Digital/4K/Blu-ray/DVD version of the film at exactly 5:00pm PT/8:00pm ET, enjoying the sensational action-adventure, reading along with the actors/filmmakers’ thoughts, and posing questions via Twitter to each of the participants.

Confirmed to live-tweet during the viewing party is David B. Mitchell (Mortal Kombat 11, World of Warcraft franchise), the voice of Raiden; producer Rick Morales (Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, Batman vs. Two-Face) and screenwriter Jeremy Adams (Supernatural, Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans). Other participants will be announced as confirmed.

That panel features a discussion between Joel McHale (Community, The CW’s upcoming Stargirl), voice of Hollwyood-star-turned-warrior Johnny Cage; Jordan Rodrigues (Lady Bird, The Fosters), voice of Liu Kang; Patrick Seitz (Mortal Kombat X, Agrretsuko, Naruto: Shippuden), voice of Scorpion & Hanzo Hasashi; and Creative Consultant Ed Boon (NetherRealm Studios), one of the creators of the game franchise. Joshua Gray, producer and host of Mortal Kombat Events & Professional Tournaments since 2015, moderates the panel discussion, which also included filmmakers Morales and Adams.

Animation in coordination with NeatherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The film arrives from Warner Bros.
