The iconic hero features six interchangeable head portraits in varying facial expressions, including three fully unmasked portraits featuring the likeness of Hugh Jackman.

Marvel Studios Variant Covers showcase the art behind Deadpool & Wolverine

This December, the stunning artwork behind Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine will be used as comic book covers in a new collection of Marvel Studios Variant Covers.

The four covers showcase original character illustrations and costume designs from the record-breaking blockbuster film. Spotlighting the artwork of some of the creative powerhouses behind the movie—Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding, Director of Visual Development Andy Park, Costume Designer Mayes C. Rubeo, and Concept Artist Jonay Bacallado—the pieces include the film’s original designs for Wolverine, Deadpool, and Cassandra Nova. The four covers will be featured on upcoming issues of Wolverine, Deadpool, X-Men, and the all-new Deadpool/Wolverine series launching in January.

From Marvel Studio’s Deadpool & Wolverine, the One:12 Collective Deadpool is outfitted in his signature red suit, featuring four pairs of eye pieces that resemble various expressions and are interchangeable by magnet. The “Merc with a Mouth” comes equipped with knives, katanas, and other handheld weapons, all of which can be stored in the multiple holsters and sheaths on his suit.

Deadpool also has a traveling buddy: Dogpool. Don’t let his size fool you! The powerful pooch is as unstoppable as his multiversal counterparts. And equally as messy…

When his home universe faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly join an even more reluctant Wolverine on a mission.

I Am Groot Season 2 is Streaming Now on Marvel HQ

All five episodes of Marvel Studios’ I Am Groot Season 2 are available to watch on Marvel HQ! Full-length episodes will be released each day this week on the Marvel HQ YouTube channel, Marvel’s official family-friendly destination for kids.

Released previously on Disney+ last year, the troublemaking twig returns to mischief in the second season of I Am Groot. This time, Baby Groot finds himself exploring the universe and beyond aboard the Guardians’ spaceships, coming face-to-face—or nose-to-nose—with new and colorful creatures and environments.
