Mike Mignola and Dark Horse Unleash A Limited Edition Krampus Statue

Ahead of Halloween, legendary Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and Dark Horse Direct have announced an all-new limited-edition statue of Krampus. Statues are limited in quantity to just 500 and are available now for pre-order.

This limited-edition statue is based on 2017’s Eisner Award-winning Hellboy: Krampusnacht, the one-shot comic book by creator Mike Mignola and artist Adam Hughes. In 2019 it was then turned into an exclusive, unpainted, mini-figure for Mantic’s Hellboy: The Board Game, as a limited-time expansion. Standing approximately 12.25 inches tall from horn tip to the creaky floorboard base, Krampus is crouched atop a cabinet of skulls ready to make mischief for Hellboy.

Hellboy Krampus Statue – Mantic Series is available for pre-order.

The statues are available for pre-order for $179.99 and are expected to ship late next fall. Each statue comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Giant Robot Hellboy Comes to Hellboy: The Board Game for Charity and More New Expansions

Mantic Games has announced it is working with Dark Horse Comics and visionary comic creator Mike Mignola to help raise money for charity with the release of Giant Robot Hellboy–a new playable character for Hellboy: The Board Game. What’s more, players of Hellboy: The Board Game will soon be able to create their own missions with the release of the B.P.R.D. Archives expansion.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Mike Mignola has been entertaining fans with new illustrations nearly each day. These range from characters from the Mignolaverse to icons in popular culture. However, one of the most eye-catching was Giant Robot Hellboy–a massive mechanical version of Hellboy.

Each limited-edition Giant Robot Hellboy will be handmade in resin by the team at Mantic Games. It will be a new playable character that can be used to play Hellboy: The Board Game in solo mode. After all, a huge robot isn’t likely to need a great deal of help dispatching the forces of evil
For each Giant Robot Hellboy sold, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to World Central Kitchen–the same charity Mike Mignola has been raising money for with his charity auctions during the COVID-19 outbreak. World Central Kitchen has served more than 10 million meals to students, families in need, seniors, and frontline healthcare heroes in North America and Spain during the pandemic.

The Walking Dead: All Out War Miniature Game Launches, Lots Unlocked

The Walking Dead All Out War Miniatures GameMantic Games have launched their latest miniature game The Walking Dead: All Out War based on Skybound‘s popular comic (and television show) The Walking Dead on Kickstarter. The miniature game’s “early bird” pledge status has already sold out, but you can get the game for $125 plus shipping ($15 for the United States).

For that amount you get:

So far the “Something to Fear” pledge level includes:

  • The complete The Walking Dead: All Out War miniatures game starter set
  • Atlanta Camp Expansion
  • Dice bag and a second set of game dice with custom faces
  • Kickstarter Exclusive Sheriff’s Badge Initiative Counter
  • Collector’s Edition Box that will hold the entire Something to Fear pledge.

In addition to the above, you now also get:

  • 10 3D Loot Markers in plastic
  • Shane Booster Miniature and Shane Character Card
  • Reggie Booster Miniature and Reggie Character Card
  • 1 Atlanta Camp Walker and 3 Equipment Cards
  • Lori Booster Miniature and Lori Character Card

The main game is $50 and boosters are $20 (we don’t know how much expansions such as Atlanta costs). Assuming all add-ons for the game are $20 that’s $150 or so worth of product. There are surely more to be unlocked down the road making it an even better deal.

There’s new characters revealed too and more teased. Check all the new figures below.
