Jack and Sally Skellington seem like the perfect couple — but all is not well in Halloween Town!

After escaping from Dr. Finkelstein and marrying her true love, Jack, Sally has become the realm’s official Pumpkin Queen. But as much as she adores her skeletal husband, the spotlight of popular attention and the weight of her many new royal obligations have left Sally wondering if she might have actually just traded one form of captivity for another. To make matters worse, when Sally and Zero discover a hidden doorway leading to the previously unknown Dream Town, the resulting cascade of calamities threatens not only her new position as Pumpkin Queen, but also the very foundations of her world!

To save her beloved home, Sally will have to summon all the strength she has within her seams — or else the future could become a nightmare without Halloween!

The World of The Nightmare Before Christmas Comes to Graphic Novels

This summer a new nightmare comes to Halloween Town! The iconic film Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas makes its way to comics once more with an all-new graphic novel. Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: Long Live the Pumpkin Queen hits shelves this June.

Based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Shea Ernshaw, the graphic novel of Long Live the Pumpkin Queen will offer a unique visual experience and translation of its already beloved story for fans. Acclaimed author Liz Marsham handles the adaptation, distilling a novel into an exciting and haunting graphic narrative. She’s a fan-favorite veteran of Disney’s library of stories and worlds, working on projects like Disney Princess: Ariel and the Sea Wolf. She’s joined by the artistic duo of Alessio Petillo and Ismael Canales, masterfully bringing the timeless characters of the film and novel to the comic page. Last but certainly not least, comics legend Jill Thompson illustrates the hauntingly beautiful cover.

Jack and Sally seem like the perfect couple — but all is not well in their colorful home of Halloween Town! As the graphic novel starts, after escaping the domineering clutches of Dr. Finkelstein and marrying Jack, her true love, Sally is officially the Pumpkin Queen of the realm. As much as she loves her skeletal husband and closest friends, the imposing public spotlight and weight of her newfound royal responsibilities feel like a new form of captivity.

Everything begins to unravel and spool out of control when Sally and trusty ghost dog Zero discover a hidden doorway leading to the previously unknown Dream Town. As worlds collide, the resulting cascade of calamities risk jeopardizing her new position as the Pumpkin Queen, and the very foundations of her world!
To save her beloved home, and find her place and comfort within it, Sally will have to summon all the strength within her seams — with Zero to help — or else the future could become a nightmare without Halloween!

Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: Long Live the Pumpkin Queen The Graphic Novel features spooky and endearing visuals, exciting new characters, and a pivotal tale for Sally, the heartfelt character in the franchise.

Incredibles 2 Lands at Dark Horse this June

With the highly-anticipated release of Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2 quickly approaching, Dark Horse returns to the adventures of the Parr family and announce some incredible new content: a graphic novel for younger readers and a three-issue comic series based on the new film!

Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2: Heroes at Home graphic novel for younger readers will go on sale on June 12, 2018. The first issue of Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2: Crisis in Mid-Life! & Other Stories goes on sale July 11, 2018.

Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2: Heroes at Home finds Dash and Violet doing their best to help out at home while their mom and dad—Mr. and Mrs. Incredible—take on new and very different jobs. First, Dash and Violet must secretly go into Super mode when they interrupt criminal activity on a routine grocery trip to pick up some essentials! Then, helping out at home, their efforts to keep up with their chores are unknowingly obstructed by the innocent mischief of their little brother, Jack-Jack!

Writer Liz Marsham pens this graphic novel while artist Nicoletta Baldari brings her illustrative skills to the Parr family’s latest crime-stopping mission. Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2: Heroes at Home features stories that are accessible to young readers—but enjoyable for everyone! In these two tales featuring story elements from the film, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack must balance their everyday lives with being secret Supers.

Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2: Crisis in Mid-Life! & Other Stories #1 contains part 1 of “Crisis in Mid-Life!,” part 1 of “Bedtime Story,” and a standalone Jack-Jack story. While dedicating a new submarine, Mr. Incredible is interrupted by the dastardly Bomb Voyage—who is intent on crushing the crowd of onlookers underneath the sub! Mr. Incredible struggles to save the day, which has him questioning his super powers—could something be wrong? In “Bedtime Story” part 1, Bob tells Jack-Jack a bedtime story that has Violet and Dash calling foul: this battle from his glory days seems too amazing to be true. Then in his own adventure, at a visit to the park, Jack-Jack uses his powers to overcome a worthy opponent!

The adventures of the Parr family—AKA, The Incredibles—continue in this super comics collection, written by Christos Gage, and Landry Q. Walker, and illustrated by Gurihiru, J.Bone, and Andrea Greppi and Roberta Zanotta. Every issue in the three-issue miniseries will feature two original ongoing stories, plus Jack-Jack focused shorts in issues #1 and #2, set during and after the events of Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2.
