KPop Demon Hunters is coming to LEGO!

LEGO has teased a new collaboration to bring KPop Demon Hunters to the line. One new product will be revealed and coming for pre-order this spring, with additional sets coming in 2027.

KPop Demon Hunters has reached more than 500 million views on Netflix since it debuted last June fueled by global fans’ love of the characters, music and celebration of Korean culture. Among many other accolades, awards and record-breaking achievements, the music of the film continues to make history with HUNTR/X being the first K-pop girl group to reach #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and “Golden” becoming the first K-pop song in history to win a Grammy Award.

The first ever LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set launching this summer will bring to life the beloved, supernatural creature from the movie. Designed for ages 9+, this set is great for both play and display – shining on your shelf. The additional sets coming in 2027 will expand the LEGO KPop Demon Hunters universe with new creative play opportunities.

Regretting You tops a Rather Weak Weekend Box Office

Update: Black Phone 2 came it first with $8.3 million while Regretting You came in second with $7.8 million.

Regretting You was the top of the weekend box office for the worst weekend of 2025 so far and the lowest-grossing October weekend in 27 years. The movie grossed estimated $8.1 million domestically. With just $100,000 between that and second place, things might be adjusted and change when final numbers are in. Domestically, the film is at $27.5 million. Internationally, the film added about $13.3 million over the week to bring that to $23.3 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $50.8 million.

Black Phone 2 held on to second place with $8 million to bring its domestic gross to $61.5 million. Over the week, it grossed $11.9 million internationally to bring that to $43.3 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $104.7 million after three weeks.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc dropped to third place after debuting in first. It added $6 million to its domestic total which is now $30.8 million. Over the week, it grossed $17.4 million internationally and now stands at $108.2 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed just under $139 million.

KPop Demon Hunters returned to theaters for a limited engagement coming in fourth with $5.3 million. Its two outings have grossed $24.3 million domestically.

Bugonia increased its theaters and thus gross jumping 576.2% to $4.8 million and now has grossed $5.8 million. Internationally, the movie has grossed $5.3 million for a worldwide gross of $11.1 million.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie – Infinity Castle grossed $641,247 domestically over the weekend and now its total is at $132.4 million. Internationally, the movie added about $2.6 million over the week and has now grossed $537 million. Its worldwide gross is at $670 million.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps remained at $274.3 million domestically. Internationally, it has grossed $247.6 million. Worldwide, the movie is at $521.9 million.

Initial numbers has 70 movies grossing $57,345,639 from 44,146 theaters for an average of $1,299. That compared to last week’s 61 movies grossing $75,704,794 from 36,556 theaters for an average of $2,070.93.

Netflix signs deals with Mattel and Hasbro for KPop Demon Hunters Toy Partnerships

Netflix has announced that Mattel and Hasbro have each been named a global co-master toy licensee for KPop Demon Hunters. These licensing deals will help meet the massive fan demand to has been steady as the film has become a worldwide hit and little official product has been released when it comes to toys and games.

KPop Demon Hunters was released June 2025, the film and the soundtrack have gone up, up, up on the charts to claim #1 most popular film of all time on Netflix with more than 325 million views globally over 91 days, and #1 album on Billboard’s 200 Albums chart, reaching 8.3B streams worldwide. Fan love has made the film’s single “Golden” Billboard Hot 100’s longest-running #1 hit by a girl group released in the 21st century while the film’s characters claimed all five spots of the top five most-searched-for Halloween costumes this year.

Netflix’s combined partnerships with Mattel and Hasbro will introduce a full portfolio of toys, collectibles, games, role-play products and more that will allow fans of all ages to drink up the characters, music, and world of the film in new and fun ways. 

Through the Netflix-Mattel partnership, Mattel will market and develop a full range of KPop Demon Hunters–themed products across multiple categories, including dolls, action figures, accessories, collectibles, playsets, collaborations with co-brands, and more, beginning in 2026 with distribution worldwide. To give fans a first look at Mattel’s offerings, Mattel Creations—the company’s design-driven, direct-to-consumer platform—is introducing a presale three-pack of HUNTR/X dolls. Beginning November 12, 2025, fans will be able to purchase the collection on Mattel Creations, with orders shipping in 2026.

Through the Netflix-Hasbro partnership, Hasbro will bring beloved on-screen moments to fans through products across categories such as special feature plush, youth electronics and role play. Hasbro will be leveraging Hasbro Games, Wizards of the Coast, Nerf, and Furby—introducing a range of toys for fans of all ages.

Products from Mattel and Hasbro will be available at retail beginning spring 2026 through the holiday season of 2026 and beyond.

KPop Demon Hunters Slays the Weekend Box Office with a Monster Sing-a-long

It was expected that KPop Demon Hunters would top the weekend box office with its two-day sing-a-long event, but it seems to have exceeded even the best estimations. The film grossed $18 million, a solid number for a two day showing after being one of the most viewed films on Netflix ever. It was Netflix’s first box office win and above the $15 million some respected entertainment news sites were expecting for the film’s gross. Others had it between $16 and $22 million. Even more impressive, the movie played on just 1,700 screens, half of of a large blockbuster and the second place film. It’s another sign the movie is likely the new “it” franchise with sequels already in the works as well as lots of merchandise already released.

Weapons slid to second place after being in first the past two weekends. The movie slid only a little adding $15.6 million to its domestic gross which now stands at $115.9 million. Over the week, it grossed $23.8 million to brings its foreign gross to $83.5 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $199.4 million. It’s another clear win for Warner Bros. and horror films this year.

Freakier Friday also had a slight drop to third with an estimated gross of $9.2 million to bring its domestic total to $70.5 million. Internationally, it grossed $11.3 million over the week and that now is $42.8 million. Worldwide gross is $113.3 million.

Four is the magic number for The Fantastic Four: First Steps which held on to fourth place. It grossed an estimated $6 million to bring its domestic total to $257.3 million. Over the week, it grossed $11.1 million to bring its international total to $232.8 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $490.1 million.

The Bad Guys 2 rounded out the top five with $5.1 million to bring its domestic total to $66.2 million. Internationally, it grossed $22.7 million over the week to bring that to $82.9 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $149.1 million.

In other comic related movies…

Superman slipped to seventh with $3.4 million domestically to lift its domestic gross to just under $347 million. Over the week, it grossed $3.9 million internationally to bring that total to $257.5 million and worldwide the movie has grossed $604.5 million.

Smurfs grossed $61,000 and a domestic total which now stands at $31 million. Internationally, the movie has added $4.3 million over the week and has grossed $78.2 million. Worldwide, the gross is $109.2 million.

Thunderbolts* remained at $190.3 million domestically. Internationally, it remained at $192.2 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $382.4 million.

Overall, the weekend box office saw a total of 73 films gross $78,072,796 from 39,529 theaters compared to last weekend’s $90,910,144 from 60 films and 36,726 theaters. This weekends average was $1,975.08 compared to last weekend’s $2,475.36.
