SDCC 2025: PCB Productions brings the Exclusive Frost Road by Keith Arem and Christopher Shy

From the visionary creators behind Image Comics’ award-winning Ascend, Keith Arem and Christopher Shy return with their latest graphic novel, Frost Road.

A man wakes up in the wreckage of a car crash, his memory shattered. Nearby, the town of Frost Road is eerily silent. Buildings stand abandoned. Vehicles are frozen mid-escape. And the few survivors left are barely clinging to their sanity.

Something is happening. Something unseen. An invisible signal that warps the mind, turning people into violent husks of themselves. The only person immune is a local woman with her own dark past, and a prisoner who clearly knows more than he’s saying. Together, they have one goal – escape Frost Road.

But as they fight through the chaos, a terrifying truth emerges: Frost Road may not be the only town. The deadly waves – too low to hear, too powerful to resist – are spreading. And if they can’t stop them here, the entire world may fall silent.

Successfully funded on Kickstarter Frost Road is coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with a limited release exclusive to the show. Frost Road features contributions from Yuri Lowenthal and Chelsea and James of Dead Meat.

You can get your copy at PCB Productions which you can find at booth #4039.

Wesley Snipes’ The Exiled #1 gets over 40,000 orders with time to go

The Exiled #1

Whatnot Publishing has announced that they’ve received strong initial orders of over 40,000 units for The Exiled #1 by Wesley Snipes, Keith Arem, Adam Lawson, and artist Eskivo. The comic book co-created by the star and producer of the Blade franchise is Whatnot Publishing’s highest initial order cutoff to date. This signifies tremendous potential for the book considering that it is still over a month away from its final order cutoff on January 9th and a release date of February 8th. The initial orders are split between 35,000 copies at Diamond comics distributors and 5,000 in retailer exclusives. Only one month after announcing 105,000 units and a second print for Ninja Funk #1, Whatnot Publishing’s first creator owned book, The Exiled #1 is on track to break this record for the new publisher. Whatnot Publishing, a collaboration between Massive Publishing and Whatnot Inc, only began releasing books three months ago and is already confirming its place as one of the top-selling Diamond publishers.

Wesley Snipes described his book as ‘’Blade Runner meets Seven’’ and he is already in talks with multiple studios for the on-screen adaptation of the comic series.

The Exiled #1 offered variant covers by fan-favorite artists like Kyle Hotz and a super limited 1000 copy incentive signed by Wesley Snipes with art by Bosslogic. A rare opportunity to get a signature from the movie star, the incentive will be printed on a higher paper stock, with a numbered certificate of Authentication and signature witnessed by CGC.

The Exiled follows hardboiled detective Niles “Roach” Washington as he pursues a serial killer who is using mysterious, ancient tools to rip the spines from his victims. With enemies on all sides, Roach wades deeper into the conspiracy and uncovers a secret 5000 years in the making.
