Miracleman joins Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto’s Avengers #1

Earlier this week, a legendary comic book super hero was reborn in the Marvel Universe: MIRACLEMAN! David Colton, the former Captain America introduced in Chip Zdarsky’s Captain America run, inherited Miracleman’s legacy and extraordinary power amidst the team’s epic showdown with Red Hulk in Avengers: Armageddon #4. When the dust settles from this cataclysmic battle, a new era for Marvel’s heroes begins and Miracleman will be at the center of it as the final member of a bold new Avengers lineup debuting in Avengers #1 by Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto, on sale November 4. Today, fans can check out the final main cover for Avengers #1, now featuring Miracleman alongside the team, plus a slew of previously classified variant covers spotlighting the iconic character.

The newly revealed covers include True Believers Blind Bag Exclusive Covers, including a brand-new piece by definitive Miracleman artist Alan Davis. Also unveiled are stunning covers by Artgerm, Skottie Young, Jim Cheung, and Julian Totino Tedesco, as well as the complete Kaare Andrews Wraparound Cover, now featuring Miracleman.

Also revealed is Mark Spears’ Display Box Exclusive Variant Cover, available only in Avengers #1 True Believers Display Boxes. Each True Believers Display Box contains 20 copies of the issue, including one copy of the Spears variant cover in a special polybag and 19 True Believers Blind Bags.

A fight to the death in the final issue of DNX leads to a major shift in Jed MacKay’s X-Men run

This November, the X-Men’s war against 3K comes down to a dramatic showdown between Cyclops and Beast—now the 3K’s Chairman—in the final chapter of DNX!

Arriving in September, DNX by Jed MacKay and Federico Vicentini unites the X-Men and Fantastic Four for a crossover that serves as a culmination of years of mutant storytelling. Marking a major turning point in MacKay’s run, the event sees 3K’s twisted plan to “make more mutants” finally become reality. After Cyclops’ trip to the future in Age of Revelation, the X-Men believe they know what’s coming. But as they join forces with the Fantastic Four to stop 3K from unleashing the X-Virus, they’ll discover that the future is never set in stone. This October, things go from bad to worse for the X-Men and the Fantastic Four in their battle against the villainous group 3K! While Cyclops’ team engages 3K above the skies of Philadelphia to prevent the release of the X-Virus and the emergence of a dark future, the Fantastic Four have mysteriously forgotten their own identities (and how their powers work!) while on their own quest to save the master of magnetism, Magneto. As if that’s not enough trouble, the X-Men’s base in Alaska comes under attack with John Greycrow left alone to defend it and Psylocke stalks a mysterious monster on a dangerous solo mission that promises to reveal dark secrets. It’s all taking place across new issues of DNX, Fantastic Four, and X-Men this October.

In DNX #3, 3K’s counterstroke has shocked the X-Men and Philadelphia is no less in the shadow of disaster as the Chairman’s spoilsport plan comes into effect! The X-Men must look to the least of their number while the Fantastic Four fight against time to deliver the data that can save the day. Absolute Catwoman #1 Gets a Second Printing as DC announces Absolute Cassandra Cain: The Shadow’s Hand

DC has announced that Absolute Catwoman #1 will be getting a second printing which will arrive in comic shops on July 15. The first printing of DC’s Absolute Catwoman #1 hits shelves on Wednesday, June 10.

The second printing of Absolute Catwoman #1, written by Che Grayson and Scott Snyder with art by Bengal, colors by Giovanna Niro, and letters by Lucas Gattoni, will feature a main cover by Bengal with a recolored logo, along with open-to-order variant covers by Guillem March and Kaare Andrews (foil).

In Absolute Catwoman, Selina Kyle has carved out a good life for herself. Through ingenuity and unmatched skill, she has become the greatest thief the world has ever known. With high-tech gear and weaponry, no vault is too secure and no score is out of reach. But when someone from her past comes knocking, everything she’s built begins to collapse. SPINNING OUT FROM ABSOLUTE CATWOMAN COMES ABSOLUTE CASSANDRA CAIN!

DC has also announced a new one-shot spinning out of Absolute Catwoman that will publish between issues #3 and #4 of this six-issue mini-series. Absolute Cassandra Cain: The Shadow’s Hand #1, written by Che Grayson with art and variant cover by Matias Bergara and a main cover by Bengal, will publish on September 9, 2026. Absolute Catwoman will then resume publishing with #4 in October.

The Next Era of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Begins in Avengers: Armageddon #1

Avengers: Armageddon, a new event series by writer Chip Zdarsky and artists Delio Diaz and Frank Alpizar, is set to transform Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a way not seen since Avengers: Disassembled. Spinning out Zdarsky’s current run of Captain America as well as One World Under Doom, Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon and more, the long-awaited saga sees some of Marvel’s greatest icons assemble against Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, A.K.A the Red Hulk, whose takeover of Latveria puts the entire world in jeopardy. When the dust settles on the cataclysmic showdown, a new era of Avengers begins, complete with a bold new lineup that includes an all-new hero with unrivaled power. Today, fans can see all the covers for the debut issue and a special sneak peek.

The new preview brings together heroes from all across the Marvel Universe including the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, Bucky Barnes, Namor and the recently introduced Captain America, David Colton. The preview also reveals the terrifying new Hulk squad, one of the many way Ross aims to keep Latveria in his tight grip…

In addition to Dike Ruan’s main cover, Avengers: Armageddon #1 will feature variant covers by Jerome Opeña, Skottie Young, Chip Zdarsky, Kaare Andrews, and Jenny Frison. Following last year’s Deadpool/Batman and celebrating the 50^th anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, the first-ever Marvel/DC crossover, Marvel and DC unite again this April in Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1! Like last year’s crossover, fans can look forward to a double-dose of history-making comic book storytelling with DC publishing a separate one-shot, Superman/Spider-Man, in March.

ComicsPro 2026: DC Absolute Universe Expands with Green Arrow and Catwoman, Plus a Tease of the First Absolute Event Mini-Series

ComicsPRO 2026 is taking place and during the first day, DC announced two new series set in the Absolute Universe: Absolute Green Arrow by Pornsak Pichetshote and Rafael Albuquerque, launching May 20, and Absolute Catwoman by Che Grayson, Scott Snyder, and Bengal, launching June 10. Both titles continue the imprint’s mission to reimagine iconic DC characters in bold, continuity-free stories from top creators.

Absolute Green Arrow #1 features covers by Albuquerque and Gerald Parel, Guillem March, Reiko Murakami, and Tula Lotay.

Absolute Catwoman #1 features covers by Bengal, Kaare Andrews, Manhanini, and Nakayama.

The Future Foundation reveals more Fantastic Four First Adventures in Fantastic Four: First Foes

This March, the Future Foundation partners with Marvel Comics to unveil Fantastic Four: First Foes #1, the first of four additional authorized comic book one-shots retelling of the Fantastic Four’s heroism and early adventures, starting with their encounter with one of New York City’s most notorious villains: the MAD THINKER! Fantastic Four: First Foes #1 will be written by Fantastic Four aficionado and writer Dan Slott and drawn by Mark Buckingham.

Return to the world of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps in the first of a series of quarterly one-shot specials throughout 2026 expanding on different characters and moments from the film! On Earth-828, a cosmic mishap has transformed four brave astronauts into the world’s champions and protectors. They are the Fantastic Four – but one person isn’t happy about things. He’s known as the Mad Thinker, and he’s determined to get his proper due by turning the city of tomorrow against its heroic patrons!

In addition to the main story, Fantastic Four: First Foes #1 will also include a two‑page “FANTASTIC SCIENCE” feature inspired by Reed Richards’ educational programming in the world of the film.
