SDCC 2026: Rebellion and 2000 AD Announce Limited Edition Collectables plus Rogue Trooper and Judge Dredd Figures from HIYA

2000 AD is bringing maximum thrill-power to San Diego Comic Con 2026, debuting brand-new limited edition collectables at booth #2121!

Published by the UK’s largest independent creative studio, Rebellion, 2000 AD is one of the longest-running and most celebrated comics in the world today. Best known for explosive sci-fi stories such as Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper, “The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic” will soon celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027.

Created in partnership with Forbidden Planet and featuring designs by superstar comic book artists, a range of pin badges and keyrings are available to celebrate beloved 2000 AD characters and moments. These premium 2000 AD collectables are debuting at SDCC 2026 in highly limited numbers – once they’re gone, they’re gone! The biggest highlight of this year’s convention? A legend forged in the poisoned wastelands of Nu Earth, the Rogue Trooper is now a 1/12 scale action figure in the EXQUISITE SUPER series by HIYA. Measuring 6.5 inches, this hyper-detailed figure features four pairs of interchangeable hands, two alternate faces and a host of accessories. Rogue Trooper’s iconic rifle, helmet and backpack are included – giving fans their very own Helm, Gunnar and Bagman to take home. That’s not all! Ahead of SDCC, Rebellion has announced a new Judge Dredd figure in black and white from HIYA coming in 2027.

Part of the EXQUISITE SUPER series, this hyper-detailed 6.2 inch Judge Dredd figure brings the Lawman of the Future to life in black and white monochrome style. The figure features four pairs of interchangeable hands, three faces and a host of accessories such as the voice-activated Lawgiver machine pistol carried by judges, daystick baton and a spray-can of Boing!, as seen in the classic comics.

SDCC 2026: Oni Press, Rebellion, and The Nacelle Company Press Kick Off the Fight of the 22nd Century in Judge Dredd/Biker Mice From Mars!

In advance of Comic-Con International 2026 in San Diego, CA, the Nacelle Company,​ Oni Press, and Rebellion have announced a historic partnership, which officially begins today with the announcement of Judge Dredd/Biker Mice From Mars #1 –  launching the wreckage-strewn collision of the 22nd Century’s most feared lawman against its hardest-charging mutant outlaws in a no-holds-barred showdown for supremacy! Spanning two 40-page, deluxe format issues beginning in December 2026, Judge Dredd/Biker Mice From Mars #1 written by​ writers Dan Watters and Ryan O’Sullivan with art by​ Jordi Tarragona. The debut issue features covers by David Finch, Karl Kerschl, and Andrew Krahnke, and more to be revealed!

Launching directly out of the pages of Judge Dredd/Biker Mice From Mars #1, the upcoming publishing collaboration will also mark the first milestone in a newly cemented merchandising partnership between Rebellion and the Nacelle Company that will see Nacelle’s Consumer Product division create a new line of highly detailed action figures and other collectibles that will feature crossovers between The Biker Mice From Mars and Rebellion’s Judge Dredd characters. Judge Dredd: Rend & Tear with Tooth & Claw Arrives in 2026!

Out of fuel, out of bullets, and out of hope… Judge Dredd is going to have to tame the wilderness of nuclear winter in order to survive! 

Bringing together two pulse-pounding stories into one hard-hitting collection, the latest addition to the staggering Judge Dredd range arrives next February in the form of Judge Dredd: Rend & Tear with Tooth & Claw! Written by Rob Williams and penciled by RM Guera, this collection smashes two chase stories together to explore the primal impulses which power the Lawman of the Future ever-forward.

Kicking off this 128-page collection, in Rend & Tear with Tooth & Claw Dredd finds himself stranded with a small team after his jet crashes into the middle of the snowy wilderness, the heart of the Northern Radlands. With a dwindling team around and fewer resources, he has to team up with the rookie Cadet Moon if he’s any hope of escaping back to Mega-City One! But the wilderness is unforgiving, and the bloody wreckage has attracted the attention of an alpha-hunter: a gigantic bear hungry for Dredd’s blood!

Then, Tunnels sets Dredd in the role of hunter, as he engages in a desperate manhunt to bring down a killer! Rebellion announces The Judge Dredd by Carlos Ezquerra Apex Edition

Rebellion has announced that the incredible work of one of comics’ greatest ever artists – Carlos Ezquerra – is to be showcased in the Judge Dredd by Carlos Ezquerra: Apex Edition.

When you think of Judge Dredd, one artist comes to mind before any other – “El Maestro”, Carlos Ezquerra.

The artist who co-created and designed Dredd with writer John Wagner in 1977, Ezquerra not only set the tone – and the bar – for adventure and action in Dredd’s world, but also created the design framework for Mega-City One, a legendary locale for one of the all-time great characters to deliver justice and punish Lawbreakers!

This November, we are delighted to to be publishing a collection of his stunning original artwork for the next volume of our Apex Editions.

Ezquerra undeniably drew the first and definitive Judge Dredd – and this collection of his art will do justice to his vision of the character, printed at the size that he drew each page, and newly-scanned directly from the original artwork to present it to the reader at the best resolution possible.

This book contains seven complete colour stories – ‘Behold the Beast’, ‘The Big Itch’, ‘It’s Happening on Line 9’, ‘The Other Slab Tynan’, ‘The Big Bang Theory’, ‘Tarantula’, ‘John Brown’s Body’) from the early 1980s Judge Dredd annuals, when Ezquerra was at the peak of his power, in addition to many other classic pages and cover art from stories including the epic ‘The Apocalypse War’. It will also include pages from Strontium Dog in the book – if we’re going APEX, we’re not going to do things by halves!

The Judge Dredd by Carlos Ezquerra: Apex Edition will be released in 2025 both as a Standard Edition available from comic book stores via Diamond Distribution and the 2000 AD webshop; and as a webshop-exclusive edition with special slipcase.

The Apex Edition series is a deluxe, over-sized facsimile edition reproducing his original art pages at their actual size. Each page of this book has been scanned directly from Carlos’s art and presents each page as if you were looking at it in person.

Measuring a huge 19 x 14 inches, this is a landmark collection of El Maestro’s staggering career in comics, running across 128 incredible pages. Now Ezquerra finally joins the critically-acclaimed Apex lineup which also features editions from titans of the industry including Kevin O’Neill, Steve Dillon, Mick McMahon, Brian Bolland and more.

The Judge Dredd by Carlos Ezquerra: Apex Edition will be released on November 26, 2025, with pre-orders available now on the 2000 AD webshop for both the standard and the webshop-exclusive slipcase editions.

SDCC 2025: 2000 AD Takes over San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with Panels and Appearances

It’s the greatest show on Earth – and San Diego Comic Con is going to be extra Thrill-powered as Rebellion Publishing lands at Booth #2121! The publisher of the legendary comics anthology 2000 AD returns to San Diego Comic Con with high-profile guests, signings, panels, exclusive collections, freebies and more – including exclusive signings with Rogue Trooper film director Duncan Jones, as well as iconic Judge Dredd artist Jock!

With the much-anticipated Rogue Trooper movie, visionary writer/director Duncan Jones will be heading to the 2000 AD booth on Friday 25th July between 2-3pm to sign high-quality prints from the film, which stars Aneurin Barnard, Sean Bean, Hayley Atwell, and more!

SDCC 2025: Rebellion reveals a Judge Dredd statue based on the art of Jock

Rebellion has announced the first ever premium Judge Dredd statue based on the work of the acclaimed, multi-award-winning artist, Jock.

Debuting at San Diego Comic Con in July, this stunning, limited editon statue based on one of Jock’s iconic cover illustrations of Judge Dredd has been crafted in collaboration with Rebellion, Jock, and Rogue1Studios.

Standing 50.5cm tall, this exclusive meticulously-sculpted collectible is  crafted from premium polystone resin and hand-painted with exceptional detail. Each statue stands as a true tribute to the legendary character and the groundbreaking artist. Every piece is individually numbered and features Jock’s signature on the base, making it a one-of-a-kind collector’s item. Each statue will also come with a Mini Art Print, also signed by Jock.
