Oni Press has announced that two of their fan-favorite young readers titles will be continuing their adventures in all new stories, debuting in summer 2024!

As Quinnelope is getting ready for bed one night, she discovers that the moon is mysteriously missing from the sky. There’s only one thing to do: launch a space mission to solve the mystery of the missing moon! Along with her dutiful butler, Bub, and loyal companion, Star, the trio blast off on a cosmic adventure to find the missing moon once and for all. Will they be able to find the moon and restore night time once again, or will they be doomed to endure sunny days forever?

In Frankie and the Beastly Bog Song by cartoonist Caitlin Rose Boyle, Frankie Fairy returns to help young readers learn about new ecosystems and creatures such as turtles, moles, frogs, and fireflies in an all-new stand-alone story. Frankie Fairy loves to learn about creepy crawly critters—and this summer she gets the special job as research assistant on her mom’s trip to study all sorts of new species. Frankie’s mom is her scientist hero, and she wants to do everything she can to impress her! But when the critters start to get a bit too creepy and a bit too crawly, will Frankie be a scaredy fairy or will she be a brave scientist hero like her mom?

“Both of these books are fun, adventurous, and heartwarming, with characters that really shine,” said Senior Editor Grace Scheipeter. “I’m thrilled for readers to dive into all new stories with Quinnelope and Frankie Fairy!”

HF Brownfield and Kayla Coombs debut graphic novel Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe arrives in September

Oni Press presents Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe Vol. 1, a hysterically funny and refreshingly imaginative middle grade graphic novel series from debut creators HF Brownfield and Kayla Coombs. When Quinnelope and friends discover all the cookies in the kingdom have gone missing, they must battle a series of food-inspired enemies to find the missing cookies and restore the Cookie King to his rightful place as the #1 tasty treat of Pleasant Towne. Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe Vol. 1 will hit stores on September 19, 2023.

Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe Vol. 1is HF Brownfield and Kayla Coombs’ debut graphic novel. Kayla Coombs’ has won awards for her artwork for clients including The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sony Music and ABC. Her art went viral after a man hired her to animate a “Sleeping Beauty” sequence for his proposal to his fiance. Featuring large panels, dyslexia-friendly lettering, colorful artwork, and light text per page, the Quinnelope series is a quick and fun-filled read.

In The Cookie King Catastrophe, Quinnelope wakes up one morning to learn all the cookies in her kingdom have gone missing. The bakery and grocery store aisles are full of cakes but NO COOKIES. What is a cookie-obsessed queen supposed to do?! Solve the mystery of the cookie catastrophe, of course! Along with her dutiful butler, Bub, and loyal companion, Star, the trio set out on a mission to find the missing cookies and restore these tasty treats to Pleasant Towne once again. But their quest isn’t as easy as it sounds… They’ll need to battle through a cookie-dough volcano, confront the chocolate chipmunk mountain, face off against egg-splosive enemies, and more in order to track down the missing Cookie King. Will Quinnelope be able to bring the Cookie King and his delicious cookies back to her kingdom, or will she be doomed to eat crummy cakes forever?

Full of vibrant colors, imaginative adventures, and 100% goofiness, Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe Vol. 1 drops this September.
