Transformers: Cyberverse Gets International Distribution

Hasbro Studios has announced an international deal with Cartoon Network to distribute Season One of the hit animated series Transformers: Cyberverse to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. The deal includes both linear and digital distribution to bring the show, which is already a hit on Cartoon Network in the U.S., to the rest of the world.

In Transformers: Cyberverse Bumblebee is on a critical mission where lives are at stake. Only, he can’t remember what it is. It’s a good thing his best friend Windblade has found him to help repair his damaged memory chips. With each recovered memory, Bumblebee rediscovers his past adventures on Cybertron before coming to Earth. He relives fun moments when he played Cybertronian sports with his friends, and even tragic ones that would change his life. His past will shape him into becoming the hero we know today. As each memory is repaired, another clue comes to light that will lead them both to complete their shared mission to save their friends and Earth… however, the Decepticons are hot on their heels and time is running out.

Bawl Your Eyes Out Again When Transformers: The Movie Comes to Theaters September 27

Brace yourself to relive the excitement and nostalgia of the thrilling action battles between the Autobots and the Decepticons from the 1986 Transformers movie on the silver screen! The world-renowned animated feature film The Transformers: The Movie hits cinemas nationwide for a special one-night event on Thursday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. local time. The film has been meticulously remastered, restored from the original film elements, and transferred in HD.

The Transformers (1986): The Movie Event will catapult audiences into the super-charged, action-packed Transformers universe, and enables lifelong fans to relive the excitement and awe of this 1986 animated feature, just months before Bumblebee, the new live-action feature film set in the year 1987, hits theatres everywhere in December 2018.

This special event is a collaboration between Fathom Events, Hasbro Studios and Shout! Factory, and it will also provide moviegoers with a sneak peek behind the making of the Bumblebee feature film, and a brand-new interview with singer-songwriter Stan Bush including recent performances of the theme songs “The Touch” and “Dare.” Moviegoers will be able to enjoy the film in approximately 500 select U.S. movie theaters. The Transformers: The Movie has captured a special place in the hearts of millions and has been a staple in the pop culture zeitgeist since 1986. Featuring memorable characters from the heroic Autobots and villainous Decepticons, and thrilling action and a heartfelt storyline, The Transformers: The Movie is a cultural touchstone that spans generations. Tickets for The Transformers (1986): The Movie Event will go on sale on Friday, August 3rd and can be purchased online or at participating movie theater box offices.

The Autobots, led by the heroic Optimus Prime, prepare to make a daring attempt to retake their planet from the evil forces of Megatron and the Decepticons. Unknown to both sides, a menacing force is heading their way – Unicron. Hasbro Studios Releases My Little Pony Vinyl Album Exclusively on Record Store Day Black Friday

Hasbro Studios has announced the release of a new My Little Pony album, Explore Equestria Greatest Hits. The new record includes a collection of top tracks from seasons 1-5 of Hasbro’s hit animated television series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Created especially for Record Store Day Black Friday event on November 25th, which is celebrated at independent record stores across the country, Explore Equestria Greatest Hits will be available as an in-store, special edition vinyl record pressed with colorful Pony artwork.

Explore Equestria Greatest Hits includes 16 original tracks performed by the cast of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’s ‘Mane 6’ – Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Pinkie Pie – as well as other popular characters from the series. Each of the songs are produced by Emmy Award nominated composer and songwriter Daniel Ingram.

Hasbro & Sony Announce My Little Pony Holiday Album

holidayalbum_digitalHasbro Studios and Sony Music/Legacy Recordings will release an expanded version of last year’s popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic holiday album, A Pony Kind of Christmas, on Friday, October 7th. This “re-edition,” marks the first time My Little Pony fans will be able to purchase a collection of Pony songs on CD, which will include a special reversible booklet showcasing the albums lyrics on one side and a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Christmas poster on the other. The album will also be available for digital download.

A Pony Kind of Christmas features all of the seasonal classic and original carols from the original version, as well as five brand-new tracks from “A Hearth’s Warming Tail,” the 2016 holiday episode of Discovery Family’s popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated television series

The re-edition of A Pony Kind of Christmas features My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’s “Mane 6” and other favorite Pony characters performing beloved holiday classics such as “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night,” as well as the new original tracks “Hearth’s Warming Eve Is Here Once Again,” “Say Goodbye to the Holiday,” “The Seeds of the Past,” “Pinkie’s Present” and “Luna’s Future.” All music from the album is written and produced by Emmy Award nominated composer and songwriter Daniel Ingram.

Transformers: The Movie Celebrates 30 Years With New Release

Transformers-movieposter-westShout! Factory and Hasbro Studios have announced a distribution collaboration to bring Transformers – The Movie to the home in the U.S. and Canada. This full-length animated adventure boasts the voice talent of Orson Welles in his final role and an all-star voice cast that includes Peter Cullen, Eric Idle, Casey Kasem, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack and Frank Welker.

The multi-year alliance provides Shout! Factory with exclusive home entertainment packaged media (Blu-ray and DVD) and select digital rights to Hasbro’s Transformers – The Movie for home entertainment releases in North America. In honor of the 30th anniversary of Transformers – The Movie, this beloved animated feature will be newly remastered and transferred in HD from the original 35mm elements. A full-range of bonus content and collectible packaging are currently in development.  Shout! Factory plans an aggressive rollout of Transformers – The Movie 30th Anniversary Edition on September 13, 2016.

This brings the iconic film to Blu-ray for the first time.

Transformers Roll Out heralds the global pop-culture Transformers phenomenon, featuring a collection of hit original songs inspired by the Hasbro Transformers franchise from leading established and up-and-coming alternative, rock and alt-pop artists, morphing together to create an epic portfolio of hard-hitting tunes that truly embodies the soul of the Hasbro Transformers brand.
