SDCC 2025: Factory Entertainment Reveals Its Plans and Exclusive Premiere Items

Factory Entertainment has revealed its San Diego Comic-Con 2025 line of Convention Exclusive Premiere items, which will be available for purchase for the first time anywhere at its booth #2743 at SDCC.

Factory Entertainment is also pleased to be hosting an in-booth appearance on Thursday July 24 by the cast of the upcoming Red Sonja feature film, in cooperation with Samuel Goldwyn Films. Red Sonja hits theaters on August 15, 2025.

An extremely limited quantity of 2025 Convention Exclusive Premieres will be available to purchase at Factory Entertainment’s booth (#2743) during the convention. Fans who are unable to attend the show will still be able to order these collectibles on Factory Entertainment’s website for delivery in August.

Head back in time with the Back To The Future Flux Capacitor from Factory Entertainment

Factory Entertainment has announced the launch of its highly-anticipated first prop replica entry from the Back To The Future film series, the iconic Flux Capacitor.

As seen in and prominently featured in Doc Brown’s DeLorean Time Machine, the Flux Capacitor is “what makes time travel possible.” The replica, which was briefly previewed last month at San Diego Comic-Con, can now be ordered from Factory Entertainment’s website or through select retailers.  

This highly detailed 1:1 scale prop replica replicates the Flux Capacitor prop as seen on screen and features screen-accurate lights and sounds, as well as remote-controlled AC or battery operation for maximum display flexibility.

The Flux Capacitor prop replica is available in two separate versions — a limited edition of 1,000 pieces or a 300-piece signature edition version which includes a plaque hand-signed by the beloved actor who played Doc Brown, Christopher Lloyd.   The signature edition is only available for purchase directly from Factory Entertainment’s website, factoryent.com. 

Each museum quality replica includes a numbered plaque, prop story booklet, and remote control to power on and control the replica.

The Flux Capacitor prop replica is available to order now at factoryent.com and is expected to start shipping in November 2023.

SDCC 2023: Factory Entertainment’s FE Masterworks Brings Iconic Star Trek Ships Home

Factory Entertainment has announced that it will be unveiling a major new product line, called FE Masterworks, on July 19 at its booth (#2743) at San Diego Comic Con, launching with three Star Trek ship models.

FE Masterworks is a line of studio-quality spaceships, vehicles and accurate lights, sounds and detailing.

Each fully-licensed FE Masterworks product is hand-built in the U.S. by veteran modelmakers with extensive experience building models for major motion pictures as well as leading theme park companies. Each is constructed using authentic film production techniques and materials to render a final product that is suitable for actual film use.

Headlining the FE Masterworks debut at Comic-Con are three iconic Star Trek starships created under license from Paramount Consumer Products:

  • The U.S.S. Enterprise, as seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan;
  • The U.S.S. Enterprise-D, featured throughout Star Trek: The Next Generation; and
  • The U.S.S. Excelsior, as seen in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

A fourth Star Trek ship will make its debut later this summer.

Factory Entertainment will first begin taking reservations for FE Masterworks models at San Diego Comic Con.

Factory Entertainment announces a Partnership with Paramount To Produce Star Trek Collectibles

Factory Entertainment has announced that the company has entered into a multi-year agreement with Paramount parent, Viacom International Inc, to expand upon its best-selling line of movie and television collectibles for Star Trek.

Factory Entertainment’s Star Trek line will be centered primarily around its high-end prop replica business. Since 2011, the company has established itself as the leader in producing authentic, limited- edition replicas of props and gadgets from popular movie and TV properties. 

In 2022, Factory Entertainment released limited-edition replicas of several props from Star Trek: The Next Generation, including the “cricket phaser,” seen in the first few seasons, a set of medical devices used by Dr. Beverly Crusher and the “Ressikan flute” treasured by Captain Jean Luc Picard in the fan-favorite episode “The Inner Light.”  The company also released a replica of the Borg Queen’s skull seen in the motion picture Star Trek: First Contact and a set of replicas from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. In addition, Factory Entertainment introduced a number of popularly priced open-edition, reduced-scale replicas designed to appeal to collectors with more restricted budgets or space.

Factory Entertainment is well underway on the production of prop replicas and other collectibles for 2023, including, among others, items from the original Star Trek series, Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Picard. Also in development for release in 2024 are the first prop replicas from the hugely popular Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. In addition to prop replicas, Factory Entertainment’s offerings will include studio scale starship models, high-end dioramas, barware and novelty items including Factory’s proprietary CHS keychain & pin set and Fandages collectible fashion bandages lines.
