GameStop Levels Up with New Deadpool and Defenders PVCs!

Who’s in your Gallery? The Marvel Gallery line of PVC Dioramas has taken the collectible world by storm, offering collectors quality 9” scale sculptures of their favorite Marvel heroes at a fraction of the cost of a resin statue. From the beginning, the GameStop chain of stores has been a supporter of the line, offering variants on some of the line’s most popular characters, and now GameStop is offering a new wave of exclusives, including dioramas of Deadpool and TV’s Defenders!

Now available at GameStop stores and online, the Unmasked Deadpool diorama features an exclusive unmasked head sculpt, showing the scarred mug of Wade Wilson, the Merc with a Mouth. Leaping from a swirling flame, Wade wields his twin katanas with professional precision in this handcrafted sculpt by Jean St. Jean, based on a design by Nelson Asencio. Also available from GameStop is the exclusive X-Force edition of Deadpool, in which Wade wears a masked, grey version of his costume to mark his time with that black-ops team of X-Men.

Arriving in stores and online now, GameStop has an exclusive line of sculpts based on the Defenders, as they appeared on the popular NetFlix TV series. Designed by Nelson Asencio and digitally sculpted by Rocco Tartamella, the teamed-up vigilantes Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist each arrive in an action pose unique to GameStop, featuring the likeness of each actor.

Coming this fall, the comic version of Thanos arrives to take on the heroic forces of the Marvel Universe! Standing atop a mountain of skulls, the death-obsessed Mad Titan strikes a menacing pose, with a sculpt by Alterton based on a design by Caesar.

Each 9-inch scale PVC diorama comes packaged in a full-color window box with a hinged fifth-panel cover, decorated with art of the product on the outside and comic or promotional art on the inside.

The DC Comic Universe Joins the World of Gallery PVCs!

DC Animation Busts In to Your Local Comic Shop!

The long-running resin bust series for the DC Animated Universe has been going on for a few years now, and Diamond Select Toys has turned out a wide variety of Batman, Superman and Justice League characters. This week, four new characters hit comic shops and specialty stores, and all of them are must-have items for any DCAU collector!

Wonder Woman (item #NOV172426) leads the charge, blocking bullets with her magic bracelets, atop a pedestal base styled after the Justice League’s Watchtower space station.

Next, villains Clayface (#DEC172270) and Killer Croc (#JAN182370) team up to wreak havoc as a pair of oversized busts, sitting on diorama bases based on the art-deco architecture of Batman: The Animated Series.

Finally, Terry McGinnis, the future Batman of Batman Beyond (#NOV172427), comes back in a new pose, with wings extended, Batarang at the ready, and a base that references the angular buildings of the future Gotham City!

Each resin bust stands approximately 6 inches tall, and is limited to only 3,000 pieces. Each comes packaged with a numbered certificate of authenticity, in a full-color, hand-numbered box.

The War Continues with Avengers: Infinity War Minimates Series 2!

The battle rages on! The first Diamond Select Toys products based on Avengers: Infinity War have conquered stores, with box sets at comic shops, and two-packs at comic shops and Walgreens stores! Now, the second wave of attack is coming, with a second series of Marvel Minimates in both locations!

Marvel Movie Minimates Avengers Infinity War Series 2 lands at Walgreens on May 1, with four different two-packs, two of them exclusive to Walgreens stores! Captain America with Falcon and Hulkbuster Iron Man with Corvus Glaive will be shared with comic shops, while Drax with Gamora and War Machine with Cull Obsidian will be exclusively available at Walgreens locations.

And at comic shops, in addition to Captain America with Falcon and Hulkbuster Iron Man with Corvus Glaive, retailers will receive an exclusive 2-pack of Black Panther with Ebony Maw! Hulkbuster and Black Panther feature removable helmets, while Falcon has removable goggles. Still available is the specialty market-exclusive box set, with Iron Man Mk 50, Thanos, and the exclusive Black Widow and Winter Soldier.

Each Minimates mini-figure measures approximately 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts. Captain America includes interchangeable shield hands, Hulkbuster and Black Panther feature removable helmets, and Falcon has removable goggles.

Two New Exclusive Marvel Select Figures Coming to the Disney Store

As the world celebrates the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, perhaps the most anticipated superhero film of all time, Diamond Select Toys has teamed up with the Disney Store to offer two new Marvel Select action figures! These exclusive figures celebrate characters who starred in the stories that have led to this massive blockbuster, one based on the comics and one based on the movies. Both are fan-demanded figures that are sure to round out any Avengers action figure collection!

The first figure is of a classic comic villain, the mad Titan Thanos, seeker of the Infinity Gems and wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet. Inspired by his modern comic book appearance, as seen in 2013’s Infinity limited series, this figure measures approximately 7.75 inches tall with 16 points of articulation and includes an interchangeable unhelmeted head.

The second figure comes from the world of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the film that brought the Spider-Man movies fully into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Depicting Peter Parker in his unmasked appearance, this figure features the likeness of actor Tom Holland as well as three additional sets of interchangeable hands. It measures approximately 6.75 inches tall and has 16 points of articulation.

DC Superhero Shows Get New Collectibles from Diamond Select Toys!

Diamond Select Toys has been capturing the world of DC Comics TV shows in 3-D form for a while now, with action figures and Minimates based on Gotham and iZombie. But there have been other shows waiting in the wings: the DC TV shows on the CW – Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow – have not gotten the DST treatment… until now! This week sees the first Arrowverse products shipping from DST, with many more to come!

This week, three Vinimates vinyl figures based on The Flash ship to comic shops and online retailers, featuring the Flash, Reverse Flash and Captain Cold. Each 4-inch vinyl figure is sculpted in the block-figure style, and set in an iconic pose from the TV show. Each one comes packaged in a full-color, stackable window box featuring show artwork.

Coming this spring, two Vinimates based on Supergirl will ship to stores – Supergirl and J’onn J’onzz are available for pre-order now, through your local comic shop or favorite online retailer. After that, DST will offer a full assortment based on Arrow!
