Last month, the first wave of David Nakayama’s Color Block Variant Covers arrived in comic shops, standing out on stands with dramatic, eye-catching depictions of heroes in Red! The hit program continues this April, moving on to new White Color Block Variant Covers spotlighting the likes of Captain Marvel, Mystique, Wolverine and more.

Each cover primarily utilizes a single color, reflected in both the character depicted and the background, creating a striking visual. The epic collection comes in three waves. Following last month’s Red Color Block Variant Covers, White Color Block Variant Covers arrive in April with Blue Color Block Variant Covers coming in June. Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have revealed interior pages and variant covers for Transformers #30, the two-time Eisner Award winning series from the powerhouse creative team of writer Robert Kirkman, artist Dan Mora, colorist Mike Spicer, and letterer Rus Wooton. The arc-ending chapter of the tentpole Energon Universe story will be available on shelves in comic book shops on March 11, 2026.

In addition to the main cover by artist David Nakayama, the lineup of variant covers for Transformers #30 includes an open-to-order cover B by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer, the final cover of the connecting cover series by Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer, a 1:25 incentive variant by Taurin Clarke, a 1:50 incentive variant by Dan Mora and Andres Juarez, and a special Invincible Month team-up variant cover by Joshua Cassara and Romulo Fajardo Jr.

Earlier this year, DC Comics and Marvel Comics announced the continuation of their historic crossover collaboration into 2026, beginning in January with the 50th anniversary of the first DC/Marvel crossover, Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man. DC has now revealed the creative teams and first look at cover art for its upcoming one-shot comic book Superman/Spider-Man #1.
