This year Red 5 Comics is offering pre-orders of its San Diego Comic-Con 2024 exclusives. You can pre-order the books and pick them up at the convention!

Blood & Fire #1 from Red 5 Comics has sold out with a small second printing coming

Red 5 Comics has announced that Blood & Fire #1 has sold out. All that remains are a few damaged copies which can bought directly from them as “reading copies.” A second print run is being down of only 200 copies that will be available on Red 5’s webstore as well as conventions.

From writer Aaron Wroblewski and art by Ezequiel Rubio Lancho, in 16th Century Japan, after centuries of rule, the central government has lost control, plunging the country into a bloody civil war. As warlords seek power and territory, a lone samurai takes a stand against the chaos. But the price of peace will be blood and fire!

Red 5 Comics has released a first look at Blood & Fire #1.  It will hit stores in May 2024 and will appear for pre-order in the March 2024 Previews Catalog!

Set in 16th Century Japan, the country is in chaos. After centuries of rule, the central government has lost control, plunging Japan into a bloody civil war. Anarchy reigns as warlords seek power and territory.

After the death of Lord Ishida after many months of illness, his brother Nobutaka is next to rule.  But the youngest brother, Kiyotane, is not content to sit on the sidelines. Assaulting Castle Ishida in a surprise attack, Kiyotane has taken power, but he has not counted on a lone, loyal samurai surviving.

And supernatural forces fuel his quest for justice and honor.

Blood & Fire is written by Aaron Wroblewski, drawn by Ezequiel Rubio Lancho, and lettered by Es Kay.  The series is three issues.
