Mondo reveals the Batman: The Animated Series – Mask of the Phantasm 1/6 Scale Figure!

Mondo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mask of the Phantasm with the latest addition to their Batman: The Animated Series 1/6 scale line.

Released after the surprising success of B:TAS Season 1, the cult classic 1993 movie introduced the killer vigilante Andrea Beaumont (aka The Phantasm). Now, Mondo has two options to add her to your collection: a deluxe Timed Edition and a Regular Edition. Available for only six days, the Timed Edition includes exclusive extras like the smoke base attachment and swappable Andrea torso!

The Phantasm Will Haunt Catwoman and Batman in January 2020

It wasn’t that long ago that we learned writer Tom King‘s run on Batman would be shifting to a new max-series Batman/Catwoman. From the initial announcement the series sounds like it’ll be the continuation of King’s intended conclusion to his Batman run focusing on the relationship between Batman and Catwoman.

We now have a new teaser for the series featuring a very interesting character… Phantasm!

Phantasm debuted in the 1993 animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. The story revolves around an early relationship in Bruce Wayne’s life.

The character has appeared in Batman Beyond 2.0 and as an action figure as well in comics in Batman & Robin Adventures Annual #1 in 1996.

We’ll find out more in January 2020.

Batman: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray/Digital Now Available

With copies of the popular Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition nearly sold out, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment have made available – effective today – the streamlined, content-only Batman: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray/Digital box set ($89.99 SRP). The 12-disc set (plus a digital copy) features all 109 remastered episodes of the landmark television series along with hours of bonus features, the heralded 90-minute “The Heart of Batman” documentary, and the recently- remastered, fan favorite animated films Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero.

Amazon will continue to offer Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray box sets while supplies last.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the Emmy Award-winning Batman: The Animated Series captured the imaginations of generations during its initial broadcast airing from 1992-1995, setting the standard for super hero storytelling for the past quarter-century with its innovative designs, near-perfect voice cast and landmark approach to DC’s iconic characters and stories. The series garnered a Primetime Emmy Award in 1993 for Outstanding Animated Program, along with three additional Emmy wins and 13 total Emmy nominations.
