Get Your Controller Ready for Batman: Arkham Origins

We now know the next Batman video game is called Batman: Arkham Origins. The game hits shelves October 25 for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC and it’s a prequel to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Warner Bros. Montreal will be making the game, previous ones were by Rocksteady Studios.

The plot involves eight of the world’s deadliest assassins descending on Gotham City on Christmas Eve. Their target: Batman. We know from Game Informer, one of those assassins is likely Deathstroke.

There will also be a version for handheld systems called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate which will be coming out for the 3DS and Vita. The games is a 2.5-D Metroid-style game developed by Armature Studios.
