Monkeybrain Goes from Digital to Print!

MB_Pixels_PrintMonkeybrain Comics burst on to the scene last year with a digital first line featuring some solid talent. This June Monkeybrain will be bringing those popular digital titles to print through IDW Publishing and Image Comics/Shadowline.

In June the digital invades print with Chris Roberson and Dennis Culver‘s Edison Rex. Edison Rex is the story of the world’s greatest villain, who finally defeats his lifelong nemesis, the world’s greatest hero, and then has to decide what to do with the rest of his life.

July will see the release of Masks & Mobsters by writer Joshua Williamson and artist Mike Henderson published by Shadowline/Image. Masks & Mobsters is a noir-fueled anthology series set in the days of the Depression, and examines what happens to organized crime when masked crimefighters with superpowers first hit the scene.

In August, Amelia Cole and the Unknown World by writers Adam P. Knave and D.J. Kirkbride and artist Nick Brokenshire will be released. It’s the story of a young woman who lives in two worlds, one mundane and one magical, who finds herself trapped in a third world in which the mundane and the magical exist side-by-side, however uneasily.

IDW has also said they’ll be publishing Dan Goldman‘s Red Light Properties, Kevin Church and Grace Allison‘s Wander and more will be announced.

Who said digital and print can’t live in harmony!?
