The first exciting collection of modern comic book stories starring the beloved The Powerpuff Girls makes its way into the hands of fans in the new year. The Day is Saved is coming March 2025 from Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

But one fateful day in his lab, Professor Utonium accidentally added a dash of the mysterious Chemical X into the batch. That day, the almighty Powerpuff Girls were born. The first batch of their latest adventures chronicled in comic books are being compiled into a slick new edition for fans.

The Powerpuff Girls: The Day is Saved is available as either a hardcover or paperback, providing a choice for all kinds of readers and collectors. Within are the complete first three issues of the ongoing series. Industry superstar writer Kelly Thompson assembles a trio of artists to tackle each issue, Paulina Ganucheau, Karen S. Darboe, and Miriana Puglia. As a perfect cherry on top, the Powerpuff Girls Halloween Special from 2024 is also included. That oversized story is a unique artistic vision of the super-powered sisters by creative and life partners Amanda Deibert and Cat Staggs. SDCC 2024: Dynamite dives into Disney with a panel

With fans getting ready and beginning their travel plans for San Diego Comic-Con, Dynamite Entertainment has announced one of its big panels at the show, a breakdown of all the latest, greatest, and upcoming projects from the publisher’s Disney line. Fans attending the show are invited, and others can tune in to Dynamite‘s platforms for the key updates!

This panel will take place on Sunday July 28 from 11:30 AM through 12:30 PM in room 23ABC.

Dynamite’s Executive Editor Joe Rybandt will be moderating the panel, alongside an all-star cast of creators who have left an incredible mark on Disney fandom with the newest comic books featuring everyone’s favorite beloved characters and worlds.

Panel guests joining him include Amanda Deibert (Darkwing Duck, Wonder Woman), Sweeney Boo (Disney Villains: Cruella De Vil, Marvel Action: Captain Marvel), Soo Lee (Disney Villains: Maleficent, Carmilla: The First Vampire), and an exciting special surprise of Darkwing Duck creator Tad Stones!

Some of the titles and projects that will be highlighted include the acclaimed comics revivals of Gargoyles and Darkwing Duck. Just not even a couple years in and the excitement and momentum for these stories remains soaring, with all kinds of Disney fans waiting to see when their favorites might be next.

Subsequent successes that will be covered at the panel are the comics of Lilo & Stitch, Hercules, and the Disney Villains line.

Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products have announced an exciting release for fans of The Powerpuff Girls, with a special comic book release for the spooky season.

The Powerpuff Girls ongoing comic book series is complemented this October with the first of a string of quarterly special issues. The Powerpuff Girls Halloween Special for 2024 sports a hearty 40 pages with an exciting, extra-length adventure from power couple writing and art duo Amanda Deibert and Cat Staggs.

Spooky season is kicking off, and Buttercup has set her sights on winning a fun contest hosted by the Townsville Gazette – creating the best Halloween horror comic! Fans will not want to miss this clever, meta take on the medium.

Buttercup will scope out the big, old, possibly haunted hotel for inspiration. The only problem is, in spite of all its spooky appeals like the creepy hedge maze, staying at the hotel means there’s nowhere to trick or treat. Which leads Bubbles and Blossom to try and convince their sister to alter her plans a bit so they can all show off their costumes and enjoy the holiday in multiple ways.

This pumpkin-spiced and super-sized saga of suspense features covers by Staggs, Trish Forstner, and Silvia De Ventura. It all goes down on October 23, right before the holiday!
