Linda-058’s Solo Mission Begins in Halo: Lone Wolf

For the past five years Dark Horse Comics and 343 Industries have worked together to bring fans exciting and intriguing stories to expand the Halo universe. Now we’re ready to deploy a new mission starring Blue Team’s Spartan Linda-058 in pursuit of a rogue UNSC scientist!

Halo: Lone Wolf follows Spartan Linda-058 alone on a covert mission. Her skills in infiltration and marksmanship make her perfect for the high-stakes mission to end the threat posed by a wanted scientist on a distant planet. With only an ONI assigned AI at her side, Linda must fight through both the dregs of the Covenant and the hostility of a lost human settlement to stop the rogue scientist in his tracks.

Master Chief Returns to Comics with Halo: Collateral Damage in June

In a story based on Halo‘s most iconic hero, Dark Horse Comics and 343 Industries are releasing a new three-issue miniseries Halo:  Collateral Damage-A Master Chief Story. This miniseries takes place shortly after the events of the Halo: Fall of Reach comics. Alex Irvine returns to the Halo universe to pen this new series and is joined by artist Dave Crosland, colorist Leonard O’Grady, letterer Simon Bowland, and cover artist Zak Hartong.

Halo: Collateral Damage follows the Master Chief and Blue Team as they are deployed by the UNSC to an unstable colony world. Their mission: terminate the Covenant’s efforts to uncover something ancient and powerful beneath the planet’s surface. But as the mission takes a turn for the unexpected, the Spartan strike team realizes that the stakes of their mission are higher than they realized and they’ll have to rely on each other and a small group of human rebels to survive!

Dark Horse and 343 Industries Explore the Origins of Atriox and the Banished

Dark Horse and 343 Industries are set to release a new anthology series based on Halo Wars 2. Halo Wars 2, 343 Industries’ real-time strategy video game, introduces a new ruthless villain, Atriox. This five-chapter anthology collects stories by acclaimed comics creators Cullen Bunn, Jody Houser, John Jackson Miller, Alex Irvine, Claire Roe, Josan Gonzalez, Jonathan Wayshak, and Tristan Jones.

The first issue of Halo: Rise of Atriox finds Atriox, who is still a member of the massive alien collective known as the Covenant, leading his Brute brethren into an all-out assault on a UNSC outpost. Leader and creator of the Banished, Atriox is a fearsome warrior who rose to power by his charismatic personality and talent for shrewd strategic planning honed during his time serving as a member of the Covenant. Cullen Bunn composes this first issue, Claire Roe provides her gorgeous artistic skills to the Halo universe, Jeremy Colwell makes the illustrations pop with his gritty colors, and topping it all off is a breathtaking cover by Aleksi Briclot.

Dark Horse and 343 Industries have announced a PAX West exclusive product: the PAX Exclusive 5” Halo Covenant Banshee Ultra replica. This limited-edition product will only be available at PAX West from September 2 to 5, 2016, in Seattle.

A limited batch of only 150 PAX Exclusive 5” Halo Covenant Banshee Ultra replicas will be available for purchase. This special item is $50, and purchases are limited to one item per person per day at the convention. Customers who purchase the PAX exclusive will receive a Halo 5: Guardians REQ Pack download card.

The PAX Exclusive 5” Halo Covenant Banshee Ultra replica is the latest addition to the Halo line from the collaborative efforts of Dark Horse and 343 Industries. To date, Dark Horse and 343 Industries have produced five Halo replica ships with more on the way, including the Halo 5 UNSC Prowler, UNSC Pelican Dropship, the UNSC Infinity, the Covenant Truth and Reconciliation, and the UNSC Pillar of Autumn.

343 Industries and Dark Horse Comics are set to release a brand-new Halo graphic novel anthology based on the massive video game franchise later this year.

Halo: Tales from Slipspace will feature all-new stories from some of the comic industry’s best—including Jonathan Wayshak, Eric Nguyen, Alex Irvine, Kody Chamberlain, Dave Crosland, John Jackson Miller, Jonathan Goff, Simon Roy, and Halo: Escalation writer Duffy Boudreau—as well as 343 Industries’ own Franchise Creative Director Frank O’Connor and Franchise Producer Tyler Jeffers. This action-packed anthology is essential reading for all Halo fans!

343 Industries and Dark Horse have also produced two blockbuster comics series with canonical story lines written by writers from the video game franchise (Halo: Initiation and Halo: Escalation) and will rerelease the graphic novel Halo: Fall of Reach in March.

SDCC 2014: Dark Horse to Manufacture Halo Replica Ships and Vehicles

HALOIN #1 FC FNLIt was announced during Dark Horse’s “The Art of Video Games” panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con that Dark Horse would develop and manufacture a line of replicas based on the ships and vehicles which have appeared in the multi-million selling video game franchise, Halo!

Furthering the arrangement between 343 Industries and Dark Horse, which has to date, produced two blockbuster comics series with canonical storylines written by writers from the video game franchise, this news is sure to excite gamers and collectors alike!

The product category was created in 2005 with the massively successful line of ships from Joss Whedon’s Serenity, which was soon followed by a popular line based on Bioware’s Mass Effect series, to great success and the unanimous approval of gamers, collectors, and comic fans!

While 343 Industries and Dark Horse are not yet ready to disclose which ships and vehicles will be included in the program, fans and retailers are encouraged to keep an eye on the news in the coming months for more information!
