SDCC 2026: 247 Comics Powered by Tokyopop

247 Comics powered by Tokyopop is heading to San Diego Comic-Con International (July 23-26), at Booth #1837, with convention-exclusive comics, creator signings, collectible trading cards, retailer-only offerings, and a slate of panels celebrating the stories and creators shaping the publisher’s growing lineup.

Fans can get an early look at upcoming releases, pick up exclusive editions of Evermind, Cyber League Baseball: The Naturals, and NEWMEN, participate in a convention-wide “Collectible Card Chase”, and unlock an exclusive comic available only through the SDCC experience!

SDCC 2026 Retailer Exclusives

Retailers attending San Diego Comic-Con will have access to the exclusive 247 First-Look Bundle, a retailer-exclusive package designed to showcase upcoming releases from across the publisher’s growing lineup. The bundle includes 24 copies of First-Look: Fall Edition #1 with an exclusive cover by GODTAIL and a bonus serial-numbered edition of NEWMEN: Special #1 with a cover by Bill Sienkiewicz and Lucas Lee-Garza, offering an early look at titles scheduled for broader release later this year.

247 Comics Trading Card Exclusives

247 Comics will also debut the 247 Cover Collection: Fall 2026 Edition, a collectible set of 15 trading cards spotlighting the creators, characters, and stories shaping the future of the publisher. The collection features artwork from acclaimed creators including Daniel Warren Johnson, Sean Chen, GODTAIL, MANIX, Lucas Lee-Garza, Mario Foccillo, Bill Sienkiewicz, Anderson Carman, Alfredo Cardona, Chris Campana, Mark Texeira, Larry Hama, and Tom Palmer, alongside highlights from Evermind, Cyber League Baseball: The Naturals, NEWMEN, Anno Incarnate, Hell Wrangler, Sons of the Devil, Demon’s Bridge, and 247 Comics Presents/Spotlight.

The first six cards will be distributed through a convention-wide Collectible Card Chase conducted in partnership with PSA (Booth #4237), ComicLink/CertifiedLink (Booth #1100), Wicked Town Studios (Booth #L-06), Big Clutch Comics/Rupp’s Comics (Booth #1101), ShortBox (Booth #1105), and Joe Benitez Productions (Booth #1717). ComicsPro 2026: Tokyopop and 247 Comics Announce a Publishing Partnership

Tokyopop has announced a publishing partnership with 247 Comics, a creator-led publishing and content studio. Tokyopop will begin publishing and providing product development and marketing support for a broad range of 247 Comics’ manga-inspired original graphic novels. Tokyopop also will work with 247 Comics to create a range of licensed merchandise based on these properties.

Engaging Tokyopop’s digital marketing resources, production expertise, and extensive channel distribution network that is managed by Penguin Random House, the initiative will launch in coming months with exclusive print editions for 247 Comics titles including the sci-fi adventure, Evermind, the intense revenge saga, Heroes Be Damned, the swords and martial arts action of Bladesmyth, and the supernatural crime drama, Zero Ghost. The comic bookstore exclusive editions published by Tokyopop will feature variant covers by world-class manga cover artists. 

Tokyopop surprised the ComicsPRO community with an exclusive announcement of its comic shop exclusive single-issue and graphic novel partnership with the team at 247 Comics, formally introducing the 247 Comics powered by Tokyopop publishing initiative.

Announced as Executive Editor of 247 Comics on stage at last year’s ComicsPRO, Terry Kavanagh brings his legacy role as editor of Marvel Comics Presents and shared details on the first issue of 247 Comics Presents & Spotlight, a flip-book quarterly anthology series. The debut issue of “Presents” features original stories by Larry Hama, Howard Mackie, and newcomer Anderson Carman’s original series Cyber League, along with a variant cover by superstar artist Daniel Warren Johnson. The “Spotlight” side will feature reprint and remastered titles New Men, created by Rob Liefeld (Deadpool), and Sons of the Devil, created by Brian Buccelatto (Flash).

The previously teased content studio 247 Comics has announced its first release; Evermind from artist Sean Chen, and actor Daniel Wu, on a meteoric rise in Hollywood’s emerging Asian American stars in film and television, is now funding on Kickstarter!

Evermind tells the story of overlooked innovator Lucas Zhang (whose likeness was inspired by Wu himself) who has worked his entire life to push humanity beyond the bounds of physical limitations with his incredible developments in neurolink technology, but his quest for success has come at a cost.
