LEGO’s Legacy of the Dark Knight Explores the Legendary Batcave

Warner Bros. Games has released a new LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video, offering an in‑depth look at the Batcave – the legendary underground headquarters of DC’s Batman located beneath Wayne Manor, which has been delightfully reimagined in the upcoming videogame.

Narrated by Jonathan Smith, Strategic Director & Head of Development Team, TT Games, the video showcases how the Batcave serves as the central hub of operations, expanding and evolving as players progress through the campaign.

This subterranean hideout is where a wide range of collectible Batsuits can be stored and displayed – from the Golden Age suit inspired by the Caped Crusader’s debut look in the original Detective Comics #27 (1939) issue to the most recent suit featured in The Batman (2022) film, and everything in between. Overall, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has 100 different outfits for playable characters, including an array of suits for both Batman and his crime fighting allies.

The Batcave also functions as the ultimate garage for Batman’s iconic vehicles, housing an impressive lineup of Batmobiles and Batcycles, all faithfully recreated in LEGO brick form. This includes the over-the-top flair from the classic Batman TV series (1966–1968) car, complete with the signature red pinstriping; the gothic style Batmobile from Batman (1989); the skeletal design from Batman Forever (1995); the heavy-duty Tumbler from The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005, 2008, 2012); and many more.

Additionally, the Batcave is where players will upgrade gadgets, display trophies, review case files via the Batcomputer, and personalize the environment with a variety of LEGO‑themed furnishings – even a personal gym.

Calico: Unwanted Men

Calico: Unwanted Men

Publisher: Sigma Comics
Creative Team: (w) H.H. German (a) Renato Pinto, Mithun Roy
Launch Date: Launching Soon – May 1
Risk: Low – Sigma Comics has run previous campaigns and delivered

A vigilante called “PIG BATH” is killing cops all across NYC. CALICO doesn’t care. His war is STRICTLY against Animal Cruelty. For now.

Sigma Comics has announced the introduction of its new,
antihero comic book character, PIG BATH. The new character is the main antagonist in Sigma Comics’ upcoming trade paperback, entitled CALICO: Unwanted Men. The new character shares some similarities with Sigma Comics’ flagship character, CALICO, however, there are notable differences.

CALICO: Unwanted Men will be Sigma Comics’ third trade paperback, following CALICO: Street Math and CALICO: Morality Play, will contain 176 pages, and is expected to launch May 1st on Kickstarter.

Sigma Comics is unique among comic book publishers in that every penny is dedicated to fighting animal cruelty. The publisher works strictly with charities that are vetted to ensure that their efforts go, overwhelmingly, to stated causes. As a result, Here Comes CALICO is a revolutionary title, and has quickly become the best-selling independent comic book series on the North American comic book convention circuit.

Those looking to get a head start on everyone else can pre-order CALICO: Unwanted Men on Kickstarter on May 1st.

Albert begins his studies at the Radford Royal Academy of Magic with that past life in the back of his mind.
