Coming to you this October from Action Lab: Danger Zone is Banjax Season 1, collecting Issues 1-4 of the dark and decidedly wicked superhero noir. Banjax pulls no punches, suffers no fools, and repeatedly gets knocked down, but always gets back up again with a smile. It’s an utterly treacherous comic dance that has already been banned in three States AND Puerto Rico.

Disgraced former superhero, Laird Mason, is diagnosed with terminal cancer brought on by years of using his powers. Defending what he has deemed an ungrateful and ultimately unworthy city is literally killing him. With just months to live and a legacy hanging in the balance, Mason launches a violent and misguided Death Wish-like campaign to purge the city of scumbags before he dies.

When things get really ugly, Mason’s measured and deliberate former sidekick, Abel Raines – the public’s current point-and-wink superhero ideal – is tasked with bringing his old mentor in. The issue? Raines isn’t remotely up to the task.

Banjax was created and written by Rylend Grant with art by Fábio Alves, color by Edson Ferreira, and lettering by HdE. The cover is by Alves and Ferreira.

Unnatural #12 Heads Back for a 2nd Printing

Image Comics has announced that Unnatural #12 by Mirka Andolfo will be rushed back to print in order to keep up with increasing customer demand. This second printing features new cover artwork by Andolfo.

Something is Killing the Children #1 Gets a 3rd Printing Before Its Release

Studios has announced that Something is Killing the Children #1, the first issue of the highly anticipated new ongoing horror series from GLAAD Award-winning author James Tynion IV and artist Werther Dell’Eder, has sold out of its second printing at the distributor level before its debut at comics shops on September 4, 2019.

In order to meet the continuing overwhelming demand from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios is fast-tracking the release of  Something is Killing the Children #1 Third Printing Variant, featuring an all-new cover by artist Nick Robles, so it can arrive in comic shops on September 18, 2019.

Image Comics has announced that the second middle-grade graphic novel in the Camp Midnight series by Steven T. Seagle and Jason Adam Katzenstein—Camp Midnight vs. Camp Daybright—will hit stores this October.

After a long year among normals, Skye is eager to return to Camp Midnight as an older, more seasoned camper. But her parents have other ideas. Humanoids’ Omni #1 Heads Back for a Second Printing

Humanoids is going back to press for the debut issue of Omni, the breakout hit series from the company’s new H1 Ignition shared universe. Omni #1 by writer Devin Grayson, artist Alitha E. Martinez, and colorist Bryan Valenza, with lettering by A Larger World Studios, has received widespread critical acclaim. Both the second printing of OMNI issue 1 and issue 2 will be published on September 25, 2019.

The White Trees #1 Heads Back to Print

Image Comics has announced that The White Trees #1 by critically-acclaimed Daredevil writer Chip Zdarsky and Runaways artists Kris Anka and Matt Wilson will be rushed back to print in order to keep up with increasing customer demand. This second printing features a new cover with artwork by Zdarsky.

In the fantastical world of Blacksand, peace was hard-won, and three unbending warriors carry the scars to prove it. Now, almost twenty years later, their children are missing and war is on the horizon. Can they put aside their memories of the war—and each other—for one last adventure?
