Huelga The Stories Of Dolores Huerta And Sal Castro

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Archives of the Unexplained Vol. 3: Lost Skies and Seas (First Second) – We’re always up for some strange tales. Hoping this can fill the X-Files gap until it returns.

Chachu #1 (Image Comics) – Iman Vellani’s solo comic debut!

Endeavour #3 (DSTLRY) – The series has been interesting, kind of a Lord of the Flies but on a boat.

Event Horizon: Inferno #4 (IDW Publishing) – The series is more action oriented but the idea of an issue from the ship’s perspective has us excited to check out.

Fort Psycho #1 (Oni Press) – Matt Kindt and Briant Hurtt teaming for a series about a messed up Suicide Squad type force? Yeah, we’re excited for this one.

Florida Hippopotamus Cocaine Massacre (Mad Cave Studios) – The title really says it all. It’s as awesome as you think.

Frostbite (Graphix) – Really solid horror for younger readers. Think Tremors meets vampires.

Huelga The Stories Of Dolores Huerta And Sal Castro (Good Trouble Comics) – Learn some history through comics!

Hulk Teach! Vol. 2: A Tale of Two Teachers (Graphix) – The second volume is a lot of fun as The Thing joins The Hulk to teach a bunch of kids.

Islands In The Sky: A People’s History Of Hurricane Helene (Good Trouble Comics) – We backed the crowdfunding campaign for it and think it’s a great example of graphic journalism, capturing recent events for generations to learn about.

The Omega Book #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – The Omega Book has the secrets of the universe in it. All of them. And the priest Brady Parsons has just inherited pages of it from his father. The concept sounds interesting.

Power Rangers Green #1 (BOOM! Studios) – We’re going with anything that has to do with the Green Ranger will hit us in the feels.

The Smart Division #1 (Dark Horse) – A new comic series about AI gone wrong?! Yeah, we’re up to see what comics has to say on the issue.

Traveling To Mars (Ablaze) – The series is one of our favorites as a guy who has no future is sent to Mars to claim it for a corporation. It’s absolutely amazing and if you missed out on the individual issues, here’s your chance to see what you’re missing.

UFO Robot Grendizer #1 (Titan Comics) – We had the toy, we had no idea what it was for. So, we’re excited to finally find out!
