Things are changing up a bit when it comes to voting for the 2026 Eisner Awards. Starting this year, all prospective Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards voters will have to apply to be considered to vote before the nominees are announced. Once the nominees are announced, there will be no new applications processed. The deadline to apply is May 13.

Online voting will be available to professionals in the comics industry, including creators, editors, publishers, distributors, and retailers.

Those invited to vote for the 2026 Hall of Fame are already eligible to vote for the Eisner Awards and don’t need to re-register.

The deadline to apply to register to vote is May 13, 2026… which means we’ll have the nominations some time after that date.
