Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Barbarian Behind Bars #2 (Mad Cave Studios) – Imagine Conan winding up in modern times, murdering someone in the middle of a city and being arrested for it. Such a great concept and the first issue was packed with nice details that made it stand out.

Batwoman #1 (DC Comics) – As part of “Next Level,” we get to see Kate Kane in what feels like an intriguing continuation of stories we’ve seen before.

Dead Teenagers #1 (Oni Press) – Since 1997, five friends have been trapped in the ultimate nightmare as a mysterious entity forces them to relive their first prom night over and over again… and re-kills them in new and increasingly insane ways each time.

Deathstroke: The Terminator #1 (DC Comics) – It’s Deathstroke betrayed and out to get the people who betrayed him. Sounds good to us!

G.I. Joe #20 (Skybound) – We want to see what this meeting between the JOEs and Autobots is like, especially after recent events in Transformers.

The Infernal Hulk #5 (Marvel) – One of the best comics on the shelf right now, it’s blended superhero action and horror with some fantastic art. It’s not too late to dive in and discover what you’ve been missing!

Kaiju No. 8 Vol. 15 (VIZ Media) – We’ve enjoyed the story of an individual who fuses with a kaiju and then joins the kaiju defense force. It’s been a nice balance of action, humor, and getting to know all of the members. It’s been over the top action and feels like it’s winding down, which we’re excited to see how it wraps up.

Lobo #1 (DC Comics) – He’s the main man. Nuff said.

Racer X #5 (Mad Cave Studios) – The series has been telling the story of Speed and his family’s story for Racer X’s perspective but it stands on its own or adds to the other releases to build out a solid connected universe.

The Sentry #1 (Marvel) – Is the Sentry back? How does this fit into the Marvel Universe? The character has been an interesting one that has either worked well or been an irritation. We’re hoping it’s the former.

Solo Leveling Vol. 15: Side Stories 2 (IZE Press/Yen Press) – The series has been the gold standard of individuals who power up like video games to take on monsters. It’s moved on to a new phase of the series that should be interesting to see where it all goes after it’s major conflict.

Super Creepshow #1 (Skybound) – Superhero stories done up like Creepshow stories? Yeah, we’re in for this!

ThunderCats X SilverHawks: Road to War #1 (Dynamite) – Our childhood comes to the comic page as the TunderCats and SilverHawks crossover! It’s like all those times we played with our toys!

Wrestle Heist #4 (Image Comics) – The heist begins as a bunch of wrestlers decide to rob a crooker promoter.
