Avatar: Fire and Ash is once again top of the weekend box office with $21.3 million to bring its domestic gross up to $342.6 million. Over the week, it grossed $110.9 million internationally to bring that to $888 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $1.231 billion after four weeks. It still has a long way to go to match the previous Avatar films and it’ll be interesting to see if it gets there.

Primate debuted in second place with $11.3 million domestically and $2.1 million internationally for $13.4 million worldwide.

The Housemaid held on to third place with $11.2 million to bring its domestic gross to $94.2 million. Internationally, the movie got a boost with $32.2 million over the week to bring that to $48.5 million and now $142.7 million worldwide.

Zootopia 2 dropped to fourth place from second with $10.1 million domestically to bring that to $378.8 million. Internationally, it added $51 million over the week where it has now grossed $1.276 billion. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $1.655 billion guaranteeing we’ll see a third film.

Greenland 2: Migration rounded out the top five debuting with $8.5 million domestically.

In other comic related movies…

Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution grossed about $100,000 over the week domestically to bring that total to $16.6 million. Internationally, it added a little and has now grossed $24.9 million for a worldwide gross of just under $41.5 million.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc remained at $43.4 million domestically. Internationally, the movie increased $2 million to bring that to $116 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $159.4 million.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie – Infinity Castle gained a little and is now at $134.5 million domestically. Internationally, the movie added about $3.6 million and has grossed $589.8 million. Its worldwide gross is $724.3 million.

Numbers have 58 movies grossing $94,134,248 from 36,581 theaters for an average of $2,573.31. That compared to last week’s 51 movies grossing $133,367,959 from 33,039 theaters for an average of $4,036.68.
