Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

50th Anniversary Treasury Edition Superman Vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (DC Comics/Marvel) – The classic crossover returns to celebrate 50 years and we’re excited to dive into this piece of comic history.

Absolute Batman Ark-M Special #1 (DC Comics) – We want to learn more about the mysterious and nightmarish Ark-M.

Absolute Superman #15 (DC Comics) – With a major arc just ended, we’re intrigued to see where this series goes, especially now that more people know Superman exists.

Cyberarchy #2 (Mad Cave Studios) – The first issue was absolutely fantastic with a sci-fi self-contained story that had us sucked in for both the story and the art. We’re excited to see what the second issue delivers and if it does, this could be one of our favorite sci-fi series out right now.

Deluge #3 (Ignition Press) – The water is rising in the prison and there’s something in the water. This has been an intriguing horror series that has delivered on its premise so far and kept us guessing as to what’s going on.

Hank Howard: Pizza Detective – The Two Hollywoods #1 (Bad Idea) – The Hank Howard series has been fun so far with a comedic detective spin that leans into tropes but adds a little bit of levity to it all.

Nova Centurion #3 (Marvel) – The series has been pop sci-fi fun that charts a new path for Nova while also diving into the character’s history.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas The Shiver Of Christmas Town #1 (Dynamite Entertainment) – It’s Nightmare Before Christmas, nuff said.

Twilight Zone #3 (IDW Publishing/IDW Dark) – The series has been interesting so far with issues that are self-contained and feel like they nail the feel of the classic series.

Ultimate Wolverine #13 (Marvel) – It sounds like Wolverine might be getting mixed into the Ultimate Endgame storyline…

Ultimate X-Men #23 (Marvel) – There’s some teasing here that revelations in this issue will get us to reexamine the entire series. We’re crossing our fingers it delivers.
