Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!

Spawn Dark Ages #1

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Batman/Deadpool #1 (DC Comics/Marvel) – We were a bit mixed on the first crossover comic of these two but we’re intrigued to see what the DC release is going to be list.

Deluge #2 (Ignition Press) – The horror comic set in a prison that’s flooding is a really interesting concept and we want to see where it goes after a solid debut issue.

Everything Dead And Dying #3 (Image Comics) – This series has shown there’s still life in the classic zombie genre and there’s much more that can be done with it.

Exquisite Corpses #7 (Image Comics) – We love this series that has killers competing in a small town to be the last one standing representing the families that really control America.

Final Boss #1 (Image Comics) – We’re getting brawling/side-scrolling video game vibes from this, and we’re here for it.

G.I. Joe #14 (Skybound) – The Dreadnok War continues!

John le Carre’s The Circus Losing Control #1 (Dark Horse) – Matt Kindt adapting an international spy story… yeah, this is on our must read list.

No Man’s Land #3 (Image Comics) – The series has solid X-Files vibe to it set during the Cold War.

Nova Centurion #1 (Marvel) – Things are looking bright for Marvel’s cosmic corner of things!

One World Under Doom #9 (Marvel) – The event wraps up and beyond Doom no longer being the Sorcerer Supreme, we have no idea how it’s wrapping up.

Racer X #3 (Mad Cave Studios) – The Speed Racer universe has been great so far and we love this series that has a focus all its own while also tying into the main Speed Racer series.

Return Of The Blues Brothers The Escape Of Joliet Jake (Z2 Comics) – We’re fans of the classic comedy/music act and we really want to see if and how it translates to the comic page.

Space Ghost Volume 2 #5 (Dynamite Entertainment) – The series has been fantastic and one of the best superhero comics on the shelves right now balancing one and done stories with a story running through each volume. Great Story + Great Art = Must get!

Spawn The Dark Ages #1 (Image Comics) – Liam Sharp handling writing and art duties for Spawn…

Star Trek The Last Starship #2 (IDW Publishing) – Kirk is back. Nuff said.

Terminator Metal #2 (Dynamite Entertainment) – The first issue was solid with a standalone story set during the future conflict. We’re hoping for more of that in this series.

Yuletide #2 (Oni Press) – The first issue was a nice new spin on a story during the holiday season.
