Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!
Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in
Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!
Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for
American Caper #1 (Dark Horse) – The series skewers everything in this crime comic from some of the folks behind Grand Theft Auto and Rockstar. Check out our early review.
Batman/Static Beyond #1 (DC Comics) – We’re intrigued.
Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees: Rite Of Spring #4 (IDW Publishing) – The series hasn’t just been an excellent comic about a serial character, but the second volume dives into the early years of online bulletin boards.
Black Diamond #3 (Ignition Press) – Just solid, tense horror involving a kidnapped kid and the father who wants to get them back and will do whatever it takes.
C.O.R.T.: Children Of The Round Table #3 (DC Comics) – The all-ages series has been fantastic and gives a new spin on the classic Knights of the Round Table.
Die Loaded #1 (Image Comics) – Die is back with a new volume pickup where the previous left off. Read our early review.
Dog Man Volume 14 Big Jim Believes (Graphix) – How can you not include what will likely be one of the biggest sellers of the year?
Hellboy And The B.P.R.D.: The Ghost Ships Of Labrador #1 (Dark Horse) – Hellboy is always a fun series you can dive into and just pick up an enjoy when a new first issue is released.
Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom Volume 7 (IZE Press) – We love this manhwa that spins the classic Snow White and this volume especially takes it in an intriguing direction.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 (IDW Publishing) – We’re pretty sure Godzilla could just step on them and their weapons won’t do much… yeah, we really need to see what this is all about.
Transformers #26 (Skybound) – With a new creative team, the comic has a bit of a different voice but we’re pumped to see where this goes after the last issue and the introduction of some new characters.
We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us #6 (Image Comics) – The series has been absolutely fantastic and we’re bummed this is it for this chapter. Hopefully we’ll see more.
Youngblood #1 (Image Comics) – Rob Liefeld returning to Youngblood? We’ll check it out.
