Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!

Absolute Batman 2025 Annual

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1 (DC Comics) – We were promised Batman beating up KKK looking people and that’s what we’re reading this for.

Beauty (2025) #1 (Ignition) – In an age where folks have regressed when it comes to medicine and science, we’re not sure how this series is going to go with its focus on a sexually transmitted disease that makes you more beautiful.

Feral #17 (Image Comics) – We love this series that mixes zombie horror with Don Bluth cuteness. The latest arc has echoes of The Walking Dead and Rick and his crew finding other survivors and we have no idea how it’s going to end.

Imperial #4 (Marvel) – One of the strongest comic events in a while. It’s been tight, focused and we’re excited to see what’s done with so limited issues to do it in.

Return To Sleepy Hollow #1 (IDW Publishing) – The Tim Burton film gets a continuation as part of the IDW Dark line of comics.

Supernatural #1 (Dynamite) – The Supernatural fandom is rabid and we’re not sure if we’re more interested in reading this or watching their reaction to the comic?

Synthetics Volume 1 #1 (Dark Horse) – This just sounds cool. On a dying Earth filled with expanding dead zones, humans form rage gangs to vent their anger at futures lost or escape into the cyber-void to avoid thinking about what’s coming. Our only hope of survival rests with a new kind of human. Will their appearance in a desperate world be met with acceptance—or destruction? Are they angels, devils, or the latest iteration of a Frankenstein’s monster?

Universal Monsters Dracula Black And White Special #1 (Skybound) – The art on this was amazing and we’re pumped to see what it’s like in black and white.

Voyeur #2 (Ignition) – We thought this was going to be like the film Sliver but it’s more Entrapment with more sexiness.
