Space Ghost Vol. 2 #3

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Absolute Wonder Woman #12 (DC Comics) – The series has been fantastic with Wonder Woman currently in a maze and diving a bit into the mystery of the Amazons and we’re glued to see where it goes.

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees: Rite Of Spring #3 (IDW Publishing) – Every issue of this series, and the first volume, have been fantastic with a cherry but creepy nature to it all. The mix of 90s early internet with a serial killer is making for an intriguing reading.

Escape #2 (Image Comics) – The first issue was an interesting war story that has a pilot shot down behind enemy lines deciding if he’ll complete his mission or try to escape what’s coming.

Fist Of The North Star Hardcover Vol. 18 (VIZ Media) – We’re pretty sure this is the final volume. The series has had a great presentation with this release and we can’t wait to see how it all wraps up.

Immortal Legend Batman #2 (DC Comics) – The first issue actually surprised us being more than just Batman in a different setting. It went in unexpected directions and we’re hoping the second issue keeps us guessing.

Phantom #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – A classic character returns to comics. It’ll be interesting to see how this one is handled in today’s world.

Rise Of The G.E.M.S. Genetically Engineered Mice In Space Vol. 1 (Roaring Brook Press) – Genetically engineered mice in space. What’s not to like?

Skinbreaker #1 (Skybound) – The art by David Finch on this one is unreal.

Space Ghost Vol. 2 #3 (Dynamite Entertainment) – The series has been fantastic. We keep saying it’s one of the best superhero series on the shelves and we mean it. It’s a great mix of single issues you can enjoy and multi-issue storytelling.

Spider-Man: Shadow Warrior (VIZ Media) – There’s some awesome art in this one. Check out our review.

Star Trek: The Last Starship #1 (IDW Publishing) – It’s the return of James T. Kirk as the Federation must deal with the Burn!

Street Sharks #1 (IDW Publishing) – The classic property is back!

Thor #2 (Marvel) – The first issue was intriguing with what felt like a deep dive into Thor’s history. There’s a lot to like in this Thor is an average person with amnesia take and we want to see where it goes.

Twilight Zone #1 (IDW Publishing) – We’re excited to check out the return of this classic. We’re hoping for a nice twisted horror/sci-fi anthology vibe.

Ultimate Hawkeye #1 (Marvel) – This version of Hawkeye gets the spotlight!

Ultimate Spider-Man #21 (Marvel) – The series has been fantastic and with it wrapping up with issue #25, we have no idea where it’s going and what’s coming.

Universal Monsters: The Invisible Man #2 (Skybound) – The first issue was fantastic of this take on the classic tale.

Void Rivals #23 (Skybound) – It’s war and we have no idea how it’ll end with both Cobra-La and the Quintessons looming.

Wild Animals #3 (Mad Cave Studios) – This tale of revenge has been excellent so far.
