We keep saying that Diamond‘s Chapter 11 drama will be going on for some time. Even after bids were approved, there’s many steps to go and a lot of unanswered questions, like what their “Chapter 11 plan” actually is. Diamond has now filed a new motion to extend the time it can file a Chapter 11 plan and get support for it.

The motion asks to extend the deadline for it to file its plan by 120 days pushing things out to September 11, 2025. It would then be able to solicit “votes” for another 120 days taking things out to November 10, 2025.

Currently, the filing period expires May 14 and the solicitation period expires on July 13.
